Best Steak spot in Dhanmondi The Lone Star Steakhouse Open …
Reviews
Soup arrived after 40 minutes.
Steak didn’t arrive at all. After 1 hour 20 minutes when we asked, the chef forgot and the waiter didn’t pass the order.
Not to mention they were photographing Ramadan platters which they preferred to cook rather to cook for customers.
And they said they had plenty of orders, though there were barely one couple in the restaurant. And one can imagine how many people would consumer BDT 3000 worth of lunch items during random lunch time?
Unprofessional service. Bad behaviour. Zero communication skills. Unimpressive atmosphere. Food nonexistent.
But their land and sea platter was too good. It deserves a 11 out of 10 stars. It’s the best one tbh.
they used imported beef previously, but now uses Bengal meat’s beef for brisket which lowered the quality and taste. Sorry, I said lowered, it destroyed the taste.
Guys, you didn’t even lowered the price, it was 3000+ when you used imported beef, but now it’s 5000++ still why you use Bengal meat’s beef for brisket???
Stop doing that
People use mone to enjoy food, don’t take it lightly if you don’t wanna ruin your business.
I said all these because, I’m a well wisher.
Hope these words put some sense in the Management’s head.
On my recent visit to Lonestar Steakhouse, I decided to go classic with a ribeye steak, a side of loaded fries, and a lava cake for dessert.
The Ribeye:
This was hands down the highlight of the meal. Cooked to a perfect medium-rare, the ribeye was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite had that balance of char on the outside with a melt-in-your-mouth texture inside. It’s exactly what you hope for when ordering steak at a place like Lonestar.
Loaded Fries:
The loaded fries were hearty and indulgent, leaning more toward a poutine-style dish with their generous toppings. While it wasn’t quite the classic version I expected, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Rich, savory, and filling—definitely a great shareable side.
Lava Cake:
For dessert, I went with the lava cake. The warm cake paired beautifully with the cold ice cream on the side; the contrast in temperature and texture was spot on. That said, the center of the cake lacked the molten chocolate flow that usually makes a lava cake so irresistible. It was still enjoyable, but it felt a little incomplete.
Final Thoughts:
Lonestar delivered a memorable meal, with the ribeye standing out as the star. The loaded fries brought comfort-food goodness, while the lava cake, though tasty, could use a more generous molten center to truly shine. Overall, a satisfying dining experience that left me impressed with their steak game.
It was juicy and tender and so so good! We loved it. Definitely coming back.
The staff at Lone Star Steakhouse were attentive and welcoming.
This restaurant is known for its steaks, and they did not disappoint. The menu offers a variety of steak cuts, each cooked to perfection. I tried the Brisket Platter. Honestly it was really delicious, properly cooked. Sides were Morocco rice which was average. Sauteed vegetables and mushrooms were great! However, I always say that taste varies person to person.
Coming to the food– Aesthetically it was plated very well but the weirdly shaped plate made it difficult to eat. Taste wise it was good
The staff was very cordial.
