A Rustic Gem with Unforgettable Seafood and Service!

My dining experience at The Log Cabin Restaurant deserves every one of its five stars. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was captivating—it successfully blends rustic charm with a touch of elegance, making for a cozy yet sophisticated setting. Even the restrooms were spotless, which always speaks volumes about an establishment’s commitment to cleanliness.
Our afternoon started with incredibly generous complementary side dishes. We were first served a refreshing bowl of vegetables with a lovely four seasons dressing and garlic cream, followed by a large, comforting bowl of pasta topped with excellent tomato sauce and freshly baked crisp bread with butter. This impressive start really set the stage for the rest of the meal.
For our main courses, the quality and quantity were truly excellent and generous. I highly recommend the Baked Scrod, which was perfectly prepared and flaky. We also ordered the twin lobster tails, which were succulent and served with a perfectly baked potato, plenty of melted butter, and sour cream. Everything was fresh, hot, and seasoned beautifully.
Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. Our hostess, Amy, was exceptionally helpful and displayed a wonderfully pleasant attitude, ensuring we felt welcome and taken care of throughout our visit.
The Log Cabin Restaurant is an absolute must-try if you’re looking for delicious seafood, generous portions, and a beautiful, unique dining environment. We will certainly be back!

I’ll start by saying I am a “live to eat” kind of guy and I can’t get enough of this place. The food is consistently tasty, portions are huge and the staff is super friendly! Big Fan …thanks for taking such good care of me today Amanda

It was my first time going there & I didn’t know what to expect. The food was excellent & the waitstaff were very good as well. I was surprised at the portions….they served big portions so everyone had plenty of leftovers to take hone. I had baked scallops which I would definitely order again. My nephew had a fried seafood platter & took over 1/2 of it home. Even the kids portions were good sized. The steak dish looked amazing. My sister ordered a chicken dish & she raved about it. I definitely want to go back there & try something else!!

We had a large to go order from here this past weekend. I ordered the Zuppe but instead of clams and muscles I opted for extra calamari, which usually restaurants love that because the calamari is very inexpensive. Basically the dish was inedible and it went right to the trash. The pasta was super mushy and like any kind of seasoning or flavor, the calamari as you see are tiny little pieces instead of nice size rings, which I’ve had there before. But the biggest problem was the scallops, I cannot believe that they didn’t make me sick. They tasted absolutely putrid like an iodine flavor which scallops usually get once they are bad. Absolutely unacceptable. I won’t be back.

So, the best part of the meal was the home made salad dressing. If you’re hungry… they definitely load up the food.

We got the Clams Casino as an appetizer. COMPLETELY not worth the price. Taste wise… little above average. The scallops that come with it… over cooked

Main meal we got the seafood combo.. over cooked. The scallops again… they’re so small, very easy to overcook them. The fish is so thin that it was overcooked and dry.

The thing you’re paying for is the amount of food they’re giving you. It’s just below average to average in taste. From when we were there, it looks like most of the clients are of the older generation….so explains how they can overcook the food and get away with it.

We took home two huge containers of food. I’ll grab some ground chicken and turn the pasta into meals for the week.

Waitress was awesome… very friendly and offered to fix things but we didn’t want to wait.

Pros: Massive portions of great food! The braised beef short ribs were delicious and the chicken parmesan was great! Very attentive and thoughtful staff, even with a packed house.

Con: The place was packed full and the tables were fairly close together. Not sure if this is normal or just during the winter.

Overall: Great food and great service.

My mother is visiting me from England and I wanted to take her out for lunch. I have been told about The Log Cabin by others so thought we would give it a try, and I’m glad we did! From the moment we sat down we felt welcome, out waitress was so nice and helpful and the food was DELICIOUS! If you’re used to eating commercialized food then you won’t like it here. This tastes like nonna’s homemade food and you’ll go home with leftovers like you visited her too. We had eggplant parm and the steak with fries and it was cooked to perfection. The homemade salad dressing was to die for and the bowl of pasta they bring out with the bread was delicious too. You don’t get service like this anymore and I can’t wait to return!

Food is delicious. Portions are ridiculously huge but that’s what makes this place awesome! Every entree is shareable! This is the lobster ravioli with scallops and shrimp.

Went on Sunday, sat right down. Had few delays with service but that was fine because of pleasant staff. Pasta & meat sauce served for the table was ok, nothing great. Chicken tenders app were good. Fried seafood platter was also good, rigatoni à la vodka ok. Would return again
