We have been here several times and we keep wondering why we come back. The food and atmosphere are good, I guess that’s why. The service is ALWAYS mediocre. The kids menu serving sizes are so small it’s robbery. Extremely small amount of chicken fingers for $12 and the mac n cheese is definitely a box of Kraft. The kids like the pirate ship boxes, but they never bring a plate for them to be able to lay the food out or put ketchup on. My kid is always still hungry after eating the whole meal. We’ve brought visitors here and they’ve always complained about wait times for beer and poor service. They used to have a rewards points system and special days and they did away with those and then added a 3.5% credit card processing fee. Who does that?? They need new management I guess. We always feel ripped off. Also heard another patron saying “this is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to” as they left. They give kid menus with a nice ship but have no crayons. Bizarre. Inappropriate music playing with the “n” word.

It’s really unfortunate and disappointing because the views are great and the taste of the food is really quite good. A majorly missed opportunity for a stellar restaurant.

Photo of tiny amount of chicken on a 4ish inch plate.

Not a fan. The atmosphere and view were great! The food was fine but the service needs improvement. Our waitress was polite but definitely didn’t meet the basic requirements of a good server. She didn’t ask if she could get us anything else. She checked in once but only to see how our meals tasted and again, didn’t ask if we needed anything. When we were ready to pay our bill, she hadn’t come back for quite some time. After a while, I was clearly trying to make eye contact with anyone working there to get a message to our server that we were ready to checkout. Every person working was really good at not making eye contact. Although I did make eye contact with the bartender once, but she quickly looked away. No smiles from anyone. Also, I find it extremely off putting when places charge more to accept credit cards. It’s just a cost of doing business. Add it to your base prices and then make sure your customer service is so fantastic that people will gladly pay the prices.

Hello my fellow food entrepreneurs,
Today’s review will be on a restaurant called; The Loft at Latitude 47.
My family and I showed up here for brunch on Sunday July 13th 2025. This restaurant is located on the second floor, (right next to the water) in Poulsbo. If you know the area you know it’s super quiet, scenic, beautiful and touristy. We got lucky, when we got upstairs we we’re able to be seated immediately. We had a great table in the corner overlooking the water where just below people can rent kayaks and head out on the water. We had a friendly and helpful waitress we were served very quickly we had drinks and appetizers on the table within 10 minutes or so. I highly recommended a pork sliders they were absolutely delicious. My wife and daughter had clams, (which they raved about) the clam chowder soup was also great. My personal favorite which I try this meal in pretty much every restaurant I first go to was the classic Washington (fish and chips!”) you have two choices- either (halibut or cod) I choose the Halibut. What makes this dish so great and I loved it so much was not only the fish delicious but the sauce they served with it was absolutely delicious. The dish also came with fries which were thin cut which were delicious.
If you have never been to this restaurant I would absolutely 100% so you have to try it if it pulls well it’s a fantastic place whether it’s lunch or dinner. So it’s mid to high price we spent about $150 for the four of us.
Enjoy,
James…

Met some friends here, immediate seating, fast and friendly service from Emma – I think it was her first day solo. She did great. Had a fantastic black and bleu salad that was really tasty. Great views from the seating area. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Worth checking out!

Awesome place and super kid friendly. Got a table for eight very easily and our server took great care of us. Seafood was incredible as well as the rest of the menu. Delicious halibut with prawns added as well as the Northwest Bowl.
All food was great — can’t wait to come back!

This was a beautiful location for an afternoon lunch. Amanda and I sat on the covered back deck and had a great view of the Sound. We shared the salmon and the steak pieces in a chili sauce. The staff were attentive and ensured our shared meal was gluten free for my wife. The chili sauce on the steak was delicious and Amanda really enjoyed her non-alcoholic refresher. Minus one star because the grilled salmon was a little boring.

Nice spot for lunch. The deck overlooking the marina is nice. Good selection of libations. The service was friendly and good.

We ordered the fried avocado 5/5 (amazing), halibut tacos 4/5, ahi tacos 4.5/5, and chicken avocado wrap 4/5.

I’ve had a few decent meals at The Loft back when I lived in Poulsbo, so the other day when I was hankering for lunch, I felt like it was a safe choice. There is a little park nearby that has plenty of parking. Some days, you will have to take a short walk from an available spot and then, you have to go up a flight of stairs to get to the door. I like a little exercise, so no big deal for me.
The first thing that hit me when I went in was the smell of old fish. It’s a hard smell to control when you serve fish, but fish is a small part of the menu and this was a lingering odor that felt like part of the usual atmosphere.
There were two hostesses working, one of whom seemed new. The new one led me to an 8 top. That was a little weird. It got worse when a large loud group showed up and got seated right next to me. My order was already in and getting any attention was hard, so I didn’t ask for a new table.
I was in the mood for a hamburger and they had a great selection. I had read through the options several times and took out my book to read. After a chapter, a waiter came by and took my order for a bacon cheeseburger and a beer. The waiter disappeared and I read another chapter while the cook hammered my food.
The plate that arrived had a big bun and a pile of fries on it. I took off the top and found a pickle spear laid on a heap of lettuce. I like pickle spears, but I don’t put them on the burger. I put it on the side and excavated my way through the lettuce to find a small hamburger patty. I did some mental math and calculated that there was about 6 square inches of extra bun. At two bites per square inch, I was going to have to deal with 12 bites of bread. There was no sauce, so it was going to be dry going. I spread the lettuce out and added some ketchup, but I should have just trimmed the bread down.
Not only was the bread dry, the meat was cooked to death leaving no juiciness to make up for the bun. The bacon was OK, but I could not taste any cheese.
Not all was lost – the fries were fine and the beer was good.
I was long done eating and read another chapter before the waiter brought my bill – $30 plus 3.5% if you use a card instead of cash. I’m old, so counting out cash and calculating a tip was not a problem. When the waiter came by, he asked if I wanted my change. Really? There would be nearly $10 of change and the service was half hearted. At least when the change came there were a number of singles.
I went through the fog of old fish smell and left, thinking that was my last visit to The Loft.

Such a cozy half booth half table spot with a pretty view. The kids meals come in pirate ships and the wine glasses are huge!

Salmon wrap was good! Still craving
