I’m on their email list and see they have live music quite often. We finally made it up there for a Jazz band. The inside is cozy and crowded, but in a good way.
The 3 female bartenders were fantastic, made great drinks quickly, served pizza’s and stayed on top of all the chaos.

After a full day on the mountain, The Lodge was the perfect place to stop and unwind. The drink menu had great options, and the pizza was absolutely phenomenal, fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving. We kept it simple with a beer and pizza and couldn’t have been happier.
The vibe at The Lodge is relaxed and welcoming. We sat out on the patio since we had our dog with us, and he was happily welcomed, which we really appreciated. The staff was friendly and easygoing, making it a great spot to kick back after a long day outside. We’d definitely come back again after another mountain day.

Live music, makers markets, and an amazing atmosphere to sit and relax. The owners are full of charm, kindness, and humor. This is not Starbucks the staff is genuinely happy. Their food and drinks are the best quality skillfully made with a great eye for presentation. I love this place! ♥️ Their pizza is the best I’ve had in ages. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. Go with friends, go by yourself, you can even go with family… If you like them. It is exactly what you’re looking for.

I visited last night in mid August ’24. My review below continues to reflect The Lodge. We had a lovely early evening in August of 2023 at one of the lodges weekly wine tastings. We had a excellent charcuterie plate and enjoyed tasting the number of Italian lines sponsored by one of their distributors. The management and operation of the lodge has changed hands recently, two great women bringing that wealth of personality, management, and enthusiasm to creating a enjoyable environment at the lodge. They have a full bar, many outdoor seating opportunities. Kinds of pizzas. You have music a few times a week. Give them a try. You’ll have a good afternoon or evening on your visit!

The pizza and potato chips and dip were very good. Highly recommend the pizza! However, for a ski-area lodge, we were shocked at how bad the hot chocolate was! I mean, seriously? It’s hot chocolate- not rocket science! My mom took one sip of hers and got this surprised look on her face. I asked her “What’s wrong?” She responded with the classic “This is SO bad – here, you gotta taste it.” So I did. And immediately I was chewing on small, slithery, slimy, gelatinous pieces of…….onion????? So I did the same thing to my wife, saying “OMG try this and tell me what you think!” She couldn’t positively say the small chewy bits were too joins but we all agreed, it was bar none by far the worst cup of (luke warm) hot chocolate any of us had ever tasted. LOL. That said, I’d go back for the pizza and chips anytime!

Clearly the location matches the beauty and surroundings of those who own it.! This location is unusual in the way it offers an interior acoustics with Coffee wine service and the people are find the surroundings are of nature and not in a strip mall setting. Beautiful manicured eucalyptus trees and pine with views of the beautiful Demonte rancho’s coupled with excellent selections and service makes this an unbeatable live music venue for any day of the week. 5☆’s.
