Headline: Surprising Gem in Rancho Cordova.
Location: When I think casino restaurant. I don’t default to RC but a friend spoke highly of this place so I figure I would give it a chance. Upon arrival, we parked and at first we saw the tiny little wall entrance and my mind immediately went with hole in the wall but around front is the main entrance. The lobby is nice open and airy with a wilderness vibe and springy not the smoky smell I would expect. The restaurant area gives pretty standard restaurant which was a big plus for me. We were seated quickly.
Service: Our server was training someone new during the process but I wouldn’t have thought she was new. Both of our servers were great and super attentive. It was not very busy but really appreciated the service.
Food: This is where I was surprised. The food is American fare but they do have some surprising items like loco moco. We primarily tried the value menu items but they were all decent quality and at 12 dollars for a meal it is hard to beat! Drinks were decent as well and they made a pretty wicked old fashioned.
Definitely worth a stop for a quick cheap meal if you are near by!

The food was averagely good, nothing special. We got the blackened salmon, coconut shrimp, and cowboy burger. Both decent size portions; however they didn’t give many fries. The staff felt difficult to get their attention at times but our waitress was friendly. There is plenty of space and not too loud of a restaurant.

I am visiting the area on business and was suggested this place by the hotel staff. I arrived to find plenty of seats available in the dining area. However, I waited about 5 mins next to the “Please wait to be seated” sign until a man hurriedly sat me at a table and i did not see him again. I waited at the table roughly 10 mins and was not greeted by staff or provided a drink. I went ahead and walked out without ordering and went 4 mins down the road to Chili’s where I was greated cheerfully and provided excellent service.

We stopped by for Happy Hour and really enjoyed our evening. The selection for Happy Hour was limited, but it did the trick. We ordered calamari, fried coconut shrimp, chips with guacamole, and chicken wings. The food was delicious.
Service was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the neighborhood.

Low key, nice vibe sports bar/restaurant inside a card room casino. Matthew, the bartender and waiter was great. He’s Very attentive and suggested which food were yummy. We will come here again.

I was here to review the wings because I’m a hot wing connoisseur. In search of the best hot wing in the Sacramento area, I arrived at the LODGE expecting more wing mediocrity to be honest. But what I received very much exceeded that expectation. I ordered the “hot” variation and as a heat fan, they didn’t disappoint! A nice bite with a lingering heat that didn’t overwhelm while still exhibiting a nice peppery buffalo-ish base flavor. I’ll definitely be back for an easy go-to hot wing fix.

The food was excellent and full of flavor. I had the broccoli cheese soup (the soup of the day) and the chicken fried rice—both were delicious. I’m definitely planning to come back and try another dish; I’ve heard great things about their burgers. Our waiter was energetic and lively, which made the experience even better.
