What a great find! I have wanted to try this place for a few years now but because its tucked away i forget. Met a friend the other day for brunch. I decided on am omelette with spinach and mushrooms. My date had lunch, a sammich and soup. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals! We got there at 11:30 on a weekday. When we were leaving the place was really filling up! It was clean, the service was just okay. We had to ask someone clearing tables for our check, then weren’t sure if we were supposed to take our check to the front or if somebody was going to come and take it so after a few minutes, we decided to go to the register.

Great vegan breakfast spot! Conveniently located in the ShopRite plaza, don’t let the location fool you. Plenty of space inside, with additional seating around back. Why did it take me so long to discover this amazing gem, located right here in Egg Harbor Township, NJ? I had heard that the vegan options were good and I was happy to finally give it a try, but I wasn’t getting overly excited. Ha! Was I ever surprised…and in the BEST way possible. They have vegan options for breakfast and lunch (see pics). I went with the French toast and an omelette (w/ mushrooms, onion, spinach + cheese). Comes with potatoes, which were cooked to perfection, and a choice of toast, English muffin, or bagel. I opted for an everything bagel (w/ vegan butter) and it was fresh, chewy, toasted perfectly, I mean-really good. I can’t say enough about what a great experience I had. Our waitress, Danielle, was helpful with our order and explained that they are very careful about vegan orders, cross-contamination, and allergies. Breakfast for 2 for under $50 (we didn’t have coffee or other beverage) and we had plenty to take home. Can’t wait to go back again!

Great breakfast-lunch restaurant. We had brunch with some pancakes, flatbread and cheese curds. Everything was so flavourful and tasty that I have to give more than 5 stars. Especially for the southwest flatbread which was phenomenal. Amazing experience for us.

Really cute spot about 20 mins from AC where you can get a good breakfast. It’s great for mixed diets as they have food for vegans and omnivores.

I ordered the vegan scramble with a cranberry juice. My friend ordered the 3 little pigs omelette with a cranberry juice. Both meals came with home fries and choice of bread. I had an English muffin and he had wheat toast.
The food was delicious. We tore it up. Everything was seasoned well and had flavor.
We will definitely be back next time we are in AC.

Service was kind and I like the diner atmosphere. I ordered the chicken and waffles which is described as a corn bread waffle and crispy chicken tenderloins…what I received was a normal waffle that did not remotely remind me of cornbread and frozen chicken tenders. My partner said the cheese steak was delicious, so maybe order one of those.

This is my first time in the new location. I’m happy to say that it may be a new location but it is still the amazing food!! The Korean Pig Wings are so good and literally fell off the bone. The owner is extremely friendly and wants to make sure that you enjoy all of your food. Our server Marie was very nice and attentive. My only regret is that I got full and couldn’t eat anymore. Lol. I will be back soon!! If you haven’t tried it yet, get to The Local’s Spot!! You will not be sorry.

**Update- Just went for breakfast this morning knocked it out of the park guys they did last time. We ate in this time which was great, comfortable. Definitely still give a five stars worth the stop!**. California omelette – Wow, my new favorite. I’ve ordered it as delivery 3 times and perfect. Usually something’s always missed on the delivery order but this had the fried potatoes, avocado, pico, grape jelly, ketchup, toast wrap separately….. Just done perfect. I used to go to the spot when it was AC sub shop then it was English Creek eatery, I’m really glad that there’s a good place here. Definitely going to try the menu.

We come every time we are in the area. The vegan options are plentiful, and the sandwich came stacked! We have only ever had wonderful service. Good latte options with some unique recipes. And let me tell you, they have the only avocado toast that might this millennial go broke. Generous serving of sliced tomatoes, avocado, pickled red onions, seasoning. I get it every time even if I get something else. It’s that good. If you are at all curious, get it.
