The Local’s Eatery est. 2018 is a pub style waterfront restaurant that offers an array of food and beverages. Come enjoy the Cucumber Collins or the Watermelon Margarita while overlooking the Bay. Order some smoked wings, a Grueben sandwich, fish dip or a fried green tomato BLT and top it off with our specialty cheesecakes. We have stopped here multiple times. Usually love the food but this is the 2nd time we have ordered the burnt ends. They are delicious, but each time each one of the meat pieces has a layer of fat between the meat. Burnt ends at all of the other places we have been at have no fat. They are pure meat. These are 35% fat. We mentioned the excess fat the first time. Today, no change.

Hands down the best fried green tomatoes I have ever had. The Loaf was absolutely delicious as well and the plate presentations were beautiful. The view is great! Today was rainy so not the best for being outside but the location itself is one of the best in the city.

Locals Eatery is the kind of spot that lives up to its name—where you feel right at home while enjoying food that’s anything but ordinary. I stopped in recently and was absolutely blown away by the quality, flavors, and overall vibe.
First off, the seared ahi tuna bites were next-level. Perfectly seared on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside, and paired with just the right sauce to let the freshness shine without overpowering it. Easily one of the best tuna appetizers I’ve had anywhere.
Then came the crab dip—rich, creamy, and packed with real crab meat (none of that imitation stuff). Served hot with fried pita chips, it was the kind of appetizer you order “for the table” but secretly want to keep all to yourself.
To top it off, I ordered an Old Fashioned, and it did not disappoint. Balanced, smooth, and crafted with care—exactly how a proper Old Fashioned should be. You can tell they take pride not just in their food, but in their drinks as well.
The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, with friendly service that made the whole experience even better. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual night out or looking for a place to impress friends with great food and drinks, Locals Eatery nails it.
If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. Five stars all day—I’ll definitely be back for those tuna bites and another round of cocktails!

First time me and my son ate here was in May of this year and the food was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was so sweet and our view of the Marina was so perfect with the sunset! The music added great vibes! Definitely will be back next time we’re in town!

This is a lovely place to have a relaxing meal. I sat and looked out at the marina while enjoying a delicious Spinach Salad with blackened shrimp and Gin Basil Smash cocktail. Both were absolutely perfect! My waitress was very attentive and friendly. There is not a ton of parking, so you may have to walk a bit. The entrance is on the left around the patio area. Ambience was great with music that’s not too loud and the right amount of seating, not too crowded. Would definitely go again.
