Seems like a familiar and comfortable place for the locals. Some cute art is decorating the spice. There are booths and tables. You can sit indoors or at one of the few tables outside. Nice size menus, easy to read, and a good selection of simple offerings. They offer comfort food like pancakes, eggs, sandwiches, fries, etc. The food was fine, but not especially tasty or memorable. It’s in a college area so I’m sure the hungry young adults are not complaining lol. We were driving through as we do a couple of times a month, and decided to try something new. None of were particularly impressed by the food, but it’s a comfortable restaurant.

Went with the family during a visit to Milledgeville to visit our college son. Has a little bit of a wait but that was fine as we checked out the antique store next door. The service was excellent and the food was great. Atmosphere was quant. Would recommend if you are in town.

Great breakfast place. Excellent service (thank you Judy!). The Canadian bacon used in my eggs Benedict was particularly good, but the hash browns came out barely warm. My husband’s pancakes were tasty but not cooked enough. But the friendly service made up for any shortcomings from the kitchen…
I would recommend that place.

I went here for breakfast with my grandmother and aunt to celebrate my grandma’s birthday. Our server, Isa, was absolutely amazing. So friendly and easy to communicate with. She even took a picture of us at our request so that we could capture the moment. The food was yummy and we also ordered mimosas, which were really yummy too. My only real critique is that there was soooo many flies everywhere. Literally 3 seconds, flies were trying to land on our food and table and glasses. My grandmother is NOT as sensitive as me and even she said the flies were just too much.

It was busy as all get out and the kitchen was backed up so food took a little longer to make it out but it was WELL worth the wait. I had the classic eggs Benedict with potatoes and my husband had the waffles with link sausage and grits.
If there was one negative, hubs said his grits needed seasoning, but that could be either because the kitchen was feeding a packed house and seasoning fell by the wayside, or they keep it bland so the customers can add seasoning to their liking. Either way, if the worst thing you can say about a place is that the grits needed flavor, I think they’re doing something right.
My eggs Benedict was very good. One egg didn’t run when I cut into it, but the flavor overall also made that forgivable. And the other poached egg was so textbook perfect, Gordon Ramsey would have been proud. The hollandaise sauce was fantastic. The potatoes were perfect also.
Our server was a sweetheart who busted her tail for her customers.
I also loved the variety of juices, teas, and coffees they offered outside of the standard soft drinks and such. It’s not often you find a place with that much variety of beverages.
I would certainly recommend this place and would most definitely go there again.

Nice place perfect for brunch. Great menu options and food tastes good. Mimosa for the win! Parking is a downtown center situation. Row parking. The staff was nice and friendly. Place was clean and welcoming. I will go here again and recommend to others. I didn’t use the bathroom to know the condition. I enjoyed sitting outside on benches after my meal and enjoying the day. It’s some places for window shopping and just downtown strolling.

Great breakfast in the afternoon. Local Yolkal serves breakfast and brunch up to 3 pm. We sat outside on a sunny afternoon, but a few people were inside eating also. We had the Capital breakfast special and an Egg/bacon and cheese croissant. Everything was hot, delicious and the service southern friendly. Food was priced fairly although drinks, coffee and ice tea seemed a little high at $2.29 each.

Located on West Hancock in downtown Milledgeville.
The restaurant is similar to a diner with art work all over the walls. The best place in town for breakfast. I had egg, meat and cheese sandwiches which were extremely greasy but tasted very good. I would recommend to the kitchen to wrap them in paper towels before serving to reduce the quantity of grease. They offer build your own with your choice of bread, cheese, meat and eggs are cooked to your preference. Service was good, polite and friendly but the waitress failed to offer to refill the coffee. Many locals go to place for breakfast.
