This spot is a hidden gem in Glendale. First thing you notice when you walk in is how clean and well-kept the place is , tables, floors, bar, everything on point. You can tell they take pride in the environment.Shoutout to Kristen, the GM, because the operation is clearly being run the right way. The staff is locked in, the vibe is welcoming, and the service matches the quality.Now let’s talk food I grabbed the 10 wings for $10, and let me tell you… absolute vibe. Fresh, perfectly cooked, sauced just right, and packed with flavor. No dry wings, no shortcuts , just straight quality. You can taste that they care about what they’re serving. My son and I tried this restaurant because it had a pretty high rating. However, I’m not sure why. We had the blue burger and fries which was mediocre at best. Two people had their dogs (not service dogs) in the restaurant. I don’t personally care about that except one of the dog owners put her dog on the table, then the floor, then the chair which is kind of gross. This was a one and done for us.

So first and foremost… JAYMI AND KRISTA were heckin phenomenal. They were incredibly attentive and provided excellent service. We came for some good vibes and to enjoy some Unrivaled Basketball with my in-laws and, as always, walked away having had some amazing food, some excellent company in the rest of the patrons enjoying the game with us, and our fantastic hosts.
This is my second time here and there will definitely be a third and then some. This place is new and growing, so give them a visit!

We’ve been to The Local twice at this point, once when they first opened and again this weekend. We had the same poor experience both times. Unfortunately, the Old Fashioneds were undrinkable. The bartender used sugar packets instead of simple syrup and added a full orange slice instead of an orange peel. After one sip, we left (both times).
We gave it a second chance after a friend mentioned good cold beer and to be fair to a new opening, but cocktail execution hasn’t improved.

Wings were excellent- perfectly crisp. Great service- Sean at the bar was so friendly, welcoming and took great care of us, and he made an excellent Bloody Mary. We will be back.

I was driving by and decided to pop into this cool spot for lunch. The front patio/garage door is what caught my attention. I don’t drink but the guys beer next to me looked ice cold and tasty. The bartender was welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. She gave great recommendations. The chef even came out and was chatting for a bit. I will definitely be back for lunch next week to hang out with the staff and eat great wings. The seasoning on the lemon pepper wings rocked my world.

Mushroom and Swiss burger is so salty it was nearly inedible. No idea who thinks any food needs that much salt. Had to add ketchup to every bite in order to finish.
Battered fries were excellent however.
The blonde bartender that was working was not friendly at all. Never a smile to anyone. Maybe it was an off night for her. But remarkably unpleasant for being a bartender.
This was our third visit. Things have improved, but since the food was so bad, we won’t be back.

I came to try them out based on the menu advertised on their website. However I didn’t even bother going inside after realizing that they don’t serve the crinkle cut fries that are pictured on their website. Apparently, they changed their menu and haven’t updated the website. Also, their reviews are uninspiring. Bring back the crinkle cut fries and I promise to give you a try.

We walked in at 6pm on a Saturday night, sign said seat yourself, so we did. We sat for twenty minutes before the waitress noticed us. We got an old fashioned, which was fine. We were ready to place our orders for food, but nobody ever came back. We sat for another 20 minutes before deciding to just go pay for our drink at the bar and leave. There were only two people working. We would have liked to try their food, but probably won’t be back after that.

Food is pretty basic. Just burgers and wings. Pizza looked good in the photos but they don’t have it anymore. They must have added an extra surcharge or gratuity to my $16 burger since we had a party of 6 or more. Server said that since our table was paying separately that we would not be charged a gratuity. Was handed the little handheld machine with options to tip 3, 5, or 7%. Told the server that she deserved more, so I tipped $5 but ended up with a $27.13 total. Not sure what happened here. Was told there is new ownership. Would like to see a little more variety in the menu.
