Our waitress was excellent. The appetizers were delicious. We had the southern egg rolls and mango shrimp. Our entrees were good. The pasta in the Cajun tortellini was very gummy but the shrimp and sauce was delicious. My ribs weren’t fall off the bone like I like them but they were good. Very good place, I recommend a visit. We will be returning.

We enjoy the occasional outing to The Local room. They provide great professional service, a great atmosphere (you can dress up or dress down), perfect for dates or family meals, and nice location to home. Drinks are amazing! The only thing we’re not 100% is the food. Some dishes are amazing, and others are bleh. For instance, my husband ordered the chicken and shrimp linguine, and it was super oily/watery.. the bottom of the bowl held a cup of oil or water. Sadly not worth the high prices sometimes..

I dined in and wasn’t feeling like a heavy meal, so I got one of there full size salads. It was a strawberry pistachio salad, and I enjoyed it along with a nice berry cocktail. There was a gentleman playing nice ambient guitar music, and the service was top notch and friendly. For an upscale restaurant, prices were also not too bad. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

The staff were great. But the food was meh. My husband got the burger and said it was alright. I got the chicken sandwich and was disappointed. Everything needed salt. My sandwich was supposed to come with caramelized onions, bacon, and an aioli. The onions were not caramelized, there was a sprinkling of bacon and aioli lightly dabbed on one side. This is the second time we’ve been here and second time we have been disappointed. Which is a bummer, this is one of the only sit down places in the area.

Wedge Salad and a side of grilled ship was fantastic! Cheeseburger and fries was grilled to perfection. We had the nicest waitress and the manger came over to make sure the steak was cooked correctly. We had eaten here last year and was so disappointed. Decided to give the restaurant another try and we pleased!

Amazing local find with big city style and menu. Food quality was top notch. Servers were incredibly kind. Drink menu included a really nice smoked bourbon “chefs choice.” They even made our mom a Strawberry lemon drop that rivaled anything we have had. Steak was delicious, try the house chips and dip appetizer. 100% gluten free options including a great desert.

The Local Room was awesome tonight (as it is each time we visit). Tayler was a fantastic server – very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. Great atmosphere. Love that we can make a reservation, WiFi is available, and that you can order small size portions. The affordability, service, and menu keep us coming back.
