Great vibe when you walk in. Well decorated. Greeted immediately by a friendly bartender and was served quickly. Sat at the bar and watched the ducks game. Tasty beer selection. Will be back and bring friends to show them the new spot.

New family owned local spot that has all the charm of a small town bar and grill with eclectic menu. Food was tasty and everything came out fast and hot. Great selection of beer and cocktails. Most importantly extremely friendly and attentive staff. Super easy parking and the restrooms were extremely clean. We were told the have live music so we will most certainly be back!

Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and great portions! We loved that there was a variety of places to sit – couches, bar seats, tables, outdoors. There is a lot of space and would be great for bigger groups. I personally loved the decor and vibe of the place! I’ll certainly be back and bringing my friends!

I stopped in for a Saturday breakfast. I had a Burrito. My sister had eggs, bacon, and toast. We enjoyed our morning. The food was good and reasonably priced. Our server was very friendly and efficient. I’ll come back and try the later in the day menu. It has some good choices on it.

I am so happy that there is place like this in my neighborhood, very clean friendly cozy and service is great. The prior bar that was here was very poorly maintained and managed would not trust the food. Now I can honestly say the food is delicious.

Tried this bar for the first time (upon a friend’s recommendation) and absolutely loved it. Staff is attentive and atmosphere feels really good. I got the cheese curds during their happy hour and they’re so good!

Place looks better after the remodel. Ordered a burger with fries. The burger looked dry … the flavor was not fully there, was hoping for more ingredients. The fries were good to my taste. Definitely some improvements needed.

1) Always a bad sign when you have to go to the bar to order anything. What happened to table service?
2) Worst cheeseburger I’ve had in YEARS. Next to no flavor and very, very dry. I think that cow was walked to death. Fries were… Meh. The salad was pretty good. Nice and fresh and plenty of it.
3) If you’ve had a long day or a long week and you come here, sit at the bar. Otherwise, you’re gonna have to get up and get your own drinks from the bar…or anything else you want. I was exhausted. I didn’t want to sit at the bar, and I didn’t want to have to run laps between my table and the bar. A single person waiting on tables could have made them a lot more money tonight.
Nope.
A very limited menu holds very little appeal for me to return anytime soon, which is kind of a shame. It seems like a nice enough place.

The Local Pub has that perfect mix of laid-back and lively. Great drinks, good people, and a vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. Whether you’re meeting friends, catching a game, or just grabbing a cold one after work, it hits the mark. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and it feels like a true neighborhood spot — not some corporate chain bar. You can tell there’s pride behind the bar and in how the place is run. Definitely one of Vancouver’s best hangout spots.

This place is amazing. The owners are so kind. The vibe is awesome. The drink deals are great.
They even moved the couch around so we could get a better view of the T.V
10/10 will be back.
