Such a cute spot for brunch and golf lovers alike! The Bananas Foster French toast was AMAZING! So rich! This place is a scratch kitchen, so everything is made to order. If you are a golfer, there are 5 golf simulator bays that you and up to three of your buddies can hit golf balls. We sat in the bar area, and our bartender/server was Audrey, who was super cool! This place is so good. My husband and I will definitely be back!

I’ve visited The Local Open in Prosper multiple times, and I’ve always loved the food, atmosphere, and service. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff consistently provide friendly, attentive service. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, but my recent brunch visit truly stood out. I ordered the French toast, and it was absolutely out of this world—easily the best French toast I’ve ever had. It was perfectly prepared, incredibly flavorful, and worth coming back for on its own. I highly recommend this place overall, but their French toast is an absolute must-try!

We absolutely loved The Local Open! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and attentive specifically Jack and Alexis, they were so kind and welcoming! making sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish had that homemade touch that makes it stand out.
I also really appreciated the cozy vibe, it feels like a place where you can relax and truly enjoy yourself. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a full meal, The Local Open is definitely worth the visit. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is the bomb. This place is a reflection of the owner, who is an amazing person. I have eaten here several times, and everything is extremely delicious. I think this is the best food in Prosper, TX. All the food is fresh and not frozen like most places.
Best French toast I’ve ever had; also, let me add they have the best burgers in Prosper and Frisco, TX.
Please treat yourself and stop by. You will not be disappointed, but you may get addicted. Drinks are on point and are my favorite part.

Went with the family ( seven of us) on Oct 14th . That was yesterday.
The atmosphere was great. The staff were welcoming and friendly. As it was the first time for us we wanted to understand how the games were played.
The staff were very patient esp. with the kids.
We had a wonderful time . The staff were not intrusive , but checking up to see how we were doing.
What with the food and drinks we had a gala time smacking the golf balls all over the place.

Husband and I went on a little adventure in driving and this was a place we landed. I must say, we were surprised with the atmosphere and it’s nice. We chose to sit outside because of the beautiful day. Construction is all around but wasn’t bad. The drinks were great! We started with the cornbread bites – the perfect taste of sweetness & the Cheesesteak Pizza – delicious %. The owners are amazing & very pleasant. Our waitress Diamond was superb! Will definitely venture this way again. Thanks for a great experience!

It is so refreshing to experience this level of service in today’s food industry! We have been here multiple times and served by Jack, Sydney, and Dymond. Each one of them deserves 5 stars! You can tell that the owner, Mike, leads a great team! Our very first time here, the extra initiative taken by Mike to ensure a phenomenal experience is what made us repeat customers. 10/10 all the way!

Stopped in to kill a few minutes and have a drink. Upon walking in, this place shattered my expectations. This is a nice, classy, almost elegant place. Didn’t plan to eat anything, but saw the Honey Cornbread and had to try it. It was great! Now I cant wait to go back and try an actual meal.

My husband and I eat here often for brunch and dinner. The food is incredible! We especially love their pizzas, but you can’t go wrong with any menu item. My husband also loves their cornbread bites! The golfing bays are a great time, and we have hosted several family gatherings here.
If you love craft cocktails, then look no further! The old-fashioned is amazing, and check out their strawberry lemon drop martini.

Went on a busy Sunday to try a new brunch place and was not disappointed. I had the local open French toast which was unreal delicious – if you like bananas, this will rocket your tastebuds into straight bliss. My hubby had chicken and waffles which delivered a nice juxtaposition of sweet and salty and was on the more tasty end of what you’d expect from a chicken/waffle combo. Coffee was smooth, low acidity, really complimented my French toast. Will absolutely be adding this spot into our brunch rotation. Very busy so make a reservation or sit in the lounge as we did.
