Great job by Chef Leandro and bartender Jenny! Solid restaurant with a beautiful bar with kind staff. We had Chicken Marsala and Classic Cheeseburger top notch.

We will be back for the ribs! And, grab a Guinness to watch a soccer game. Thank you chef!

In a sleepy town (no offence), The Local was quite the gem—a highlight for our vacation from Canada! Visited this past Sunday night. We made last minute reservations online (about a hour and a half in advance). The host acknowledged us in a timely manner. Our server was attentive and happy to be there. The ambience of the restaurant was very comfortable and the decor was aesthetically pleasing. The food now…just wow. We ordered quite the variety—nachos, steak tacos, haddock, sesame chicken, and the power salad. Warning: the power salad is a MEAL sized portion. The quinoa makes it hearty and filling. Add a protein on the side if you’re into that, and you’ll be set. No need for a second dish like I did haha. We loved loved loved every bite of it all! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

We (2 adults and 2 kids) came here on New Year’s Eve around 530pm. There’s tons of parking. There was no wait. The restaurant is very beautiful with a modern design. My kids had chocolate milks (not included with kids’ meals), my boyfriend had one beer on draft, and I stuck with water. Everything came out very quickly. We started with the Brussel sprouts and they were so good. The pairing of the cheese with the sauce was amazing. We could not finish it because it was so big. I had a “bowl” of clam chowder, which was tasty (I didn’t even need to add salt or pepper), but really only the size of a cup. My kids had the kids’ cheeseburger and kids grilled cheese. Their fries were very good. I didn’t try their sandwiches but they liked them and finished their meals. My boyfriend got the Tuesday seafood rigatoni special, which boasts 3 kinda of seafood. The flavor was great but only had one kind of seafood in it (calamari) and the garlic bread was just okay. I ordered the short ribs because I just love short ribs and they were kind of a letdown. They were just okay, the mashed potatoes were very good I thought, but the spinach was very wet and tasteless. I had to drain the water off my plate at one point and add a ton of salt and pepper. For dessert, the kids had kids ice cream sundaes. My boyfriend and I shared the cookie skillet, which was very hot but definitely could have used more time cooking. The service was amazing and we could not have been happier with the staff. The total before tax was $127 or so.

I’m an out of towner but visit the area often for work and my son goes to school nearby and I’ve always seen the parking lot full here and wanted to try it. Decided to go last night for our son’s birthday. We were warmly welcomed by 2 young and friendly hostesses and seated promptly. We were about 30 minutes early for our reservation. I get the sense, that for reservation was for later and we were a half hour early we wouldn’t have been able to be seated. Our reservation was for 6 and we arrived at 5:30. The restaurant what is completely full when we left. Multiple people checking on us. Apps were solid, fried pickles and beer pretzels prepared perfectly. Chicken caprese sandwich, smash burger and beef tips – everyone loved their meal. My one issue was the broccoli that came with my beef tips were inedible because of their heat. That’s on me -I didn’t pay attention to how the broccoli was prepared in the menu. They are prepared with red pepper flakes. Apparently this is a Boston area thing. I wasn’t ready for it and just thought the first couple of crowns were really salty until I got one that was loaded began to choke! If that’s your thing, great – not mine!!!

drinks were delicious, i was absolutely a fan. food …. not so much. we started with the street corn dip which was pretty decent and then had the seseme chicken bowl, which came out cold. the rice was also undercooked. wasn’t a fan of that. i would definitely recommend it for drinks but not so sure i would recommend it for food.

This was our first time here. The parking was very easy. The restaurant is handicapped accessible. The atmosphere was very plain. Our server was very efficient. The menu prices seemed reasonable. I have to say that my wife and I both ordered hamburgers and they were the biggest hamburgers I’ve had in my life. The waitress said that they were 8 ounce burgers, but I believe they were more like 10. They were cooked perfectly. They have a well-stocked bar that sits about 20 people. They had a nice little area to sit outside and watch the main street. It was cold the day that we went so we could not sit outside, but I would imagine sitting outside, having a beer on their porch on a nice summer day with a view of this cute little town would’ve been a wonderful treat.

Run of the mill, overpriced, “fancy” new-age burger type of place. I should have assumed as much by the name alone, but we gave it a try anyway.

The only thing that we enjoyed food-wise was the buffalo tenders, which in my opinion are pretty hard to screw up. Other than that, I got the “handheld” classic cheeseburger, that is $21 dollars. I incorrectly assumed by the price that it was going to be a large delicious burger, but instead I got a medium-sized luke warm, overcooked burger that I would have tossed if I got it from a fast food restaurant. My buddy was also very underwhelmed by his $19 chicken wrap.

Along with the overpriced and disappointing food, the bar service was off the whole time. We walked in to a mostly empty restaurant on a Friday at 3PM, but had to wait 5 minutes for the bartender to clear leftover dirty dishes. We also had to ask for silverware when our food arrived. The bartender just seemed to be really off and unfriendly.

All in all, just not a pleasant experience and I don’t plan on returning.

This place is very clean and spacious. The food is excellent. They give you cornbread when you are seated and it was probably one of the better corn breads I’ve ever had. We got the burrata to start and it was really good with balsamic and fried garlic. Then we had their brunch burger and it was so juicy and flavorful. We will have to go back to try the rest of the menu. Our waitress was really nice and on point!

First time to eat here. Walked over half a mile to get here, but the food was definitely worth it. I had the fried pickles as an appetizer. They were thin and crispy, and the bourbon sauce was great. I had the Smashburger, and it was pretty good. A big portion of fries were crispy and well seasoned. I definitely recommend it. The half mile walk back to the hotel was rough due to a very full belly.
