Always love the local, but today’s experience was top tier! My mom and I stopped in for lunch after the event across the street at Russell’s, and our server Patrick was amazing! Refills on time, split the meal me and my mom were sharing without having to ask, and paid extra attention to my allergies for my meal. Amazing service and would go back and ask for his section again! He also recommended the skillet cookie dessert, and he was right it was delicious!

I used to love it here. But the last few times I’ve had issues with the food – most recently my kids chicken tenders did not appear cooked all the way (pink slimy middle), and the staff was very apologetic but they didn’t even remove the item from the bill. I didn’t think I’d have to ask, and went ahead and paid but it left me feeling frustrated with the experience. Last time I ordered to-go and they gave me the wrong kids item but I didn’t notice til I was home (and good luck explaining to a toddler why her hamburger didn’t come). The staff is usually super friendly and helpful, but they really need to offer to do something when they make mistakes.

This place offers a welcoming atmosphere, even during the quieter hours between lunch and dinner. The central bar, surrounded by high-top tables, booths, and window seating, is designed to encourage social interaction, making it an ideal spot to meet new people. As a modern American sports bar, it features contemporary American cuisine with generous, feel-good portions. While the food is excellent, the establishment stands out as a great place for late dinners and drinks at the bar. I’m looking forward to returning for the laid-back evening experience.

Update: Came back again and the food has improved. Definitely recommend the honey chicken wrap and chicken tenders. They were really well made and seasoned. The kids portion was large enough for an adult.
The five hour short rib and beet salad were great. The margherita pizza was disappointing: it was basically a cheese flatbread pizza with some herbs. Service was fast and friendly.

The service here was outstanding. Extremely quick and attentive.
We had the fried pickles (not pictured) and those were easily the best thing we ate at the Local.
Unfortunately the two mains (Baja fish tacos and street tacos) were both quite wet and soggy. The dirty rice that accompanied it was pretty bland as well (seemed like just rice and paprika?). I don’t think we’d order either again.
I think this probably a really good spot for drinks and appetizers, but I’m not sure I’d recommend the mains (at least the tacos).

The service here is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant, making for a nice dining experience overall. However, the food didn’t quite meet expectations. I ordered the **pepperoni pizza**, which was decent but nothing special—fairly average in taste and quality. The **meatballs**, unfortunately, were disappointing. They had too much bread filler and barely any meat, making them taste more like breadballs than actual meatballs.
While the staff and vibe are great, the food could use some improvement, especially when it comes to flavor and ingredient quality.

In all my visits to the Local the food has always been great. Can’t say that during the last visit on Father’s Day. We both had the Farmers breakfast. For $25, you get a Mimosa or a Bloody Mary. They must be the bulk of the cost. The food portions were on the small side. One slice of toast and what was barely 2 eggs. I believe there were two pieces of bacon. We’ve had this breakfast before and it was much better. I hope it’s better the next time we come for brunch

Food was good, drinks were also good. Service was OK, except we were with a friend so we wanted to talk a bit, but waiter was in a rush and went by to our table at least 9 times in an hour asking if we wanted the check, and it wasn’t like they needed the table because restaurant was at 10% of their capacity. Would definitely go again and try more stuff. Gnocchi’s were AWESOME! Sangria was different, but good, and fig prosciutto pizzas was also good!

Feb 2023: Nice atmosphere, good service, ample free parking, plenty of tables and bar space – not busy for a Monday night. Food was good. Convenient location for me so I’ll dine here again.
Jan 2024: nice lunch with a friend. Favorite is the power salad with choice of protein. Repeat customers.

Good meal with helpful and friendly staff. Pretty lowkey for Thursday night, had no issue getting a spot at the bar. Would recommend for dinner and/or drinks
