We’ve been going to the Local Kitchen & Ale for quite awhile, and the food no matter what you order is excellent. Now they have Prime Rib I think for a limited time, it may be the best I have eaten. And I have been to some very nice steak houses, all across the south. If you haven’t been there you really need to try it. Also try their wings and their Chicken bacon ranch fettuccine, you won’t regret anything you order.
Last night 11/05/20 we were at the Local Kitchen & Ale they had short ribs Fred Flintstone style on the menu and they were a absolutely the best. The staff here are the best they take very good care of their customers. If you haven’t tried it yet you need to check facebook for their specials during the week you’ll be glad you did.

Delicious food, great atmosphere. Good place to take family, there is a full service bar. There’s also a nice outsude seating are if the inside is to loud. If you have a well behaved dog, bring them with you. Dogs are allowed in the patio area. Food is great, I recommend the ham & swiss sandwich and string fries. I ate it all before getting a picture.

You gotta try this place!!!!! Didn’t even know this place was there but so glad i do now. The atmosphere had such a cool vibe. The owner was awesome and the food… Was excellent. This little place has a trained chef snd WOW the food specials, I’m going to make

Long post: I visited this place back when they first opened, and even though it was good, I wasn’t impressed with the options given and with a picky husband it was hard to select. Husband and I decided to try it last night. I had learned that they changed their menu up. Let me just say this place was top notch. I already knew the atmosphere was nice and cozy, made you feel relaxed and comfortable. We walked in feeling like we were welcome and appreciated! We both opted for the pasta dishes, him the spaghetti and me the alfredo, both came with side salads and we chose an extra order of the garlic knots. This food y’all! Let me tell you! IT WAS AMAZING! I am Italian and can be picky about my pasta dishes. Both dishes were just full of flavor and substance! The Alfredo was creamy and just perfect! The noodles were cooked to perfection! They were not crunchy and they didn’t just fall apart in your mouth. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs, again the noodles cooked to perfection, and the sauce was great! The meatballs were huge and cooked all the way through. The portions were big, one could easily leave with leftovers. Not us though, way to good to stop eating it! I love that they had other finger food options if you just wanted a snack and a beer. Or you could do the pasta for a nice date night, like the husband and I chose. I can not say enough about this place! The prices were reasonable especially for what we got, and the owner was so nice. I kinda stuck my foot in my mouth when i asked if he had been there since they opened because i didn’t care for the menu before. He politely said yes he didn’t have a choice since he was the owner. lol Oh my! oops! he then explained how much time and effort he has put into this establishment hiring a chef from culinary school and revamping the menu to meet needs and cut down waste. Ya’ll!!! It was great! Thank you Local Kitchen & Ale for sticking it out. I will be back!

Very clean! The food was hit or miss and a little over priced for the end result. The fried pickles were good but the wings were over done and dried out. It was lunch time when I visited, so it was steady crowd but the bar great seating for lunch. Good atmosphere. There were multiple TVs and a patio to enjoy.

You wouldn’t expect much based on the location, but it was decent. The food was pretty good and the staff was friendly. Service was rather slow, but it’s a new restaurant so I’m sure they’ll get better. I had the bacon-pimiento cheese steak and enjoyed it. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and said the meat was good, but it was really dry. They made an unfortunate choice on the bread there, I think. My daughter loved the pizza rolls. They’re sort of an egg roll filled with pepperoni and cheese with marinara for dipping. Interesting and fairly tasty. I’ve also heard good things about the chili. I’m sure we’ll give it another go sometime

Stopped in with our soccer team after a game, and there was another team eating, as well. It was great service and food, with outstanding options for local beers on tap. I highly recommend to anyone looking for some quality food and atmosphere. It was all of our first times there, and all said they will be back, for sure.

We ate at The Local Kitchen & Ale today. The food was great! We had the pulled pork fries, pizza wraps, and the turkey parm sandwhich with the ranch lattice chips. Our 12 year old loved the pizza wraps and how nice the bartender John was helping him with the Wi-Fi password for his tablet. My husband, 2 year old and I really loved the turkey parm! The pulled pork fries were an added bonus! John really did a great job making sure our family of 5 enjoyed our lunch. I saw on some other posts that they didnt have a kids menu, but wasnt concerned. There are plenty of options for kids to enjoy a nice lunch too. We will be back and can’t wait to try something else. The owner also told us that their menu will change a little seasonally. Can’t wait! We found our new favorite spot and it’s only 8 minutes up the road! – Lindsay Godwin
