Was excited to finally visit because of lack of downtown coffee spots but had some serious concerns during my visit. There is no restroom available for dine-in guests and sadly my food was inedible. The potato soup was chunks of potato in a thin, bright yellow sauce of some sort that tasted like something had been badly burned and the grilled cheese was cold, cheese completely unmelted. Nobody on staff came to check in with us. I ordered a black coffee that unfortunately was not only weak but had a flat, almost metallic taste. Hate to leave a rough review but this was a troubling experience.

One pm on a Saturday isn’t a very popular time to get a coffee, I know. I was alone inside (seats up to 16 in the small, quaint, old wood floor shop), and while having my macchiatto and watching out the windows, the server made a point of checking on me a few minutes after bringing my drink.
