My favorite place to go for a latté! The staff is so accommodating and friendly, and the coffees, lemonades, and milkshakes are consistently top-notch.
The seasonal/monthly menu is SO fun, and we’ve never had a “fun drink” that we didn’t like from Local. I can’t recommend this place and these people enough! So glad they made Centerville “home”!

this place is genuinely my favorite favorite. i come here everyday, drive 30 minutes just to get the coffee, they’ve got all my drinks memorized and they’re all so entirely pleasant. the wait is never too long and the drinks are always so so yummy. the employees are some of the NICEST people EVER and i always love the environment is always so welcoming. favorite coffee place 10/10 do recommend

I had ordered online. It gave me the drive through name, but the public square address, so I went to the address, just to find out that it was at the drive through. At the drive through I pull in and I’m sitting behind a truck, and it looks as if 2 are conversating. I wait approximately almost 10 minutes just to go ahead and pull around to the other side of the drive through, since I see cars leaving there, I sit for another additional. Almost 20 minutes waiting to get my order as I’m sitting here waiting to get my order that truck that was on the other side is still sitting there. And the employee is chatting with the individual. So they have been conversating for at least 30 mins. I do not feel like this is good customer service. Now I am late for work because someone decided to have a conversation in the window and not moving for a customer that was behind them. The employee should prioritize their customers.

Pulled up to The Local Place Drive Thru thinking I was just grabbing a quick coffee… ended up finding one of the best spots around. Don’t let the drive-thru fool you—this place has that small-town feel but serves up some seriously high-end stuff.
Yeah, I rolled in like a typical biker, but don’t sleep on their caramel drizzle white coffee frappe… that thing is legit. Smooth, strong, and just the right amount of sweet. Way better than anything you’ll get at a chain.
And that asiago bagel with bacon? Absolute game changer. Fresh, loaded, and hits exactly how you want it to.
And the crew? Absolute top notch. Friendly, real, and easy to talk to, none of that fake customer service vibe. Just good people, good conversation, and a solid atmosphere every time you pull up.
This place is the real deal. I’ll be back, almost daily !
