We chose this as our morning coffee stop to get the local experience while in the area on vacation.
The team was friendly and helpful in selections. My sister got the mixed berry smoothie and it was really good.
I got a coffee flight with Cinnamon, Pumpkin, Maple, and Cookie & Cream.
Pumpkin 10/10 Loved
Cookies & Cream 8/10 Would get again
Cinnamon 7/10 Would probably get again
Maple 3/10 Not the biggest fan
It was steady busy but not overwhelming.
Overall, I great experience!

Wonderfully cute spot! The aesthetic of the space is remarkably well done. Their attention to detail, including highlighting what locals love and what options are available, is exceptional. The service was friendly without being over the top. The food was wonderful and included perfectly cooked eggs to our preferences. Order their French toast for the table and you won’t regret it.

Usually when I go out to eat, I like to order something that I can’t make at home. I was hesitant to order pancakes because I’ve been making pancakes since I was a kid but they came with sausage and it sounded good. I have never seen pancakes this thick and fluffy. I don’t know how they did it. Mine would have not been cooked in the middle but these were awesome. Every visit to the Local is a great experience!!

Delicious breakfast and lovely experience at The Local! Located in Baroda, Michigan, this breakfast spot is memorable and has great menu items.
The food was a hit! I enjoyed the menu items and presentation so much! Our water cups stayed full, and the portions weren’t too bad.
The service was amazing! I appreciated the explanation of the menu and patience, the kindness, the warm welcome, and the service with a smile. Lovely service!
The atmosphere was cool! I love the rustic look, the clean environment, the pretty pictures, and the awesome smells!
The Local is a really nice restaurant. Really great breakfast items and lovely coffee.

A cute ~local~ spot for coffee & breakfast! Food and service were great. The cold brew flight was a fun touch and our server introduced us to their homemade jelly, which you can also buy! Highly recommend

I went here with my girlfriend in their family on a weekend, it conceit five or six tables. It’s a small place, but the food is incredible! The only downside is that they must not have a lot of people in the back kitchen area because the food did take about 20 minutes to arrive once we placed our orders, but it allow us time to chat.
Also a note I don’t believe they take reservations so the wait time might be long but it’s worth it.
Now to talk about the food:
The food is very high-quality and made with ingredients are very obviously fresh! You have to try their signature pancakes, which are thicker than two or three standard pancakes put together.
Overall, I’d say the vibe in this place is cozy and it’s a place. You should check out contingent you have some extra time on your hands, this is definitely not an in-and-out type of place.

This is a small local establishment that was not disappointing. The service was quick and server was friendly! The food was excellent. My only complaint was that it was a bit chilly in the dining area, but not bad enough to keep me from coming back. Great place!

We always love the Local! Food is always great and the service is always friendly. A big bonus is that they serve Infusco coffee which we love. They’re also very kid friendly and we love bringing our kids with. It is worth the drive if from out of town!

The food was decent, packaged nicely, and hot. I filled up more on the toast than the under seasoned eggs and potatoes. I asked for extra crispy bacon, but was unable to eat it because it was not cooked to my liking.

We love the Local! The gals working are always so sweet and quick to bring anything you need. It gets pretty busy on the weekends (which is great) but definitely be ready to wait if it’s breakfast time. Their drinks and specials are so fun and unique, we love stopping by for coffee to go. Grab some sweet treats from Kaylee, they are worth it!
