First time eating at The Local and I must say, I was very pleased. Parking situation is a bit tough but a little bit of walking hasn’t killed anyone. Wait for seating was about 35-40 minutes which for 4 PM on a Saturday, it’s a bit unusual. Service was quick and food was great. Very good prices as well. Lots of drinks to chose from. Great service. We will definitely visit again.

First restaurant we went to in Boone recommended by our hotel. We spent four hours catching up while tasting the local drafts. The cheese curds were delicious and locally sourced. The fish and chips use Cod and was so tasty….reminded me of fresh fish I had in Alaska. The Boone Burger was grilled perfectly! Pizza and salad were notably tasty also. The best part of our dining experience was Laura. She was so very friendly and on top of our every need before we even knew we needed it. Great place!!

This place was SO good! We got the bbq tacos, naan Cuban, and a pomegranate lemonade mocktail. Super unique flavors and a good amount of food. The drink was so yummy too. All the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was so cute. Would love to come back.

Solid food all around. Had a really solid blackened burger with goat cheese. A little heavy on the goat cheese but it was excellent.

Best shrimp and grits I’ve had to date! 10 out of 10 on the plate licker scale! We also had the cheese curds for an appetizer. So good and wa plenty for 4 people! We had about a 35 minute wait on a Saturday night so not bad at all. Out food came out really fast!

Got the burger at The Local with their in-house pimento cheese and WOW. Creamy, tangy, a little kick, and it melts right into the patty like it was meant to be there.

Overall 10/10. Our server, Jaden, was so kind, the food was AMAZING. I had the creamy pesto Alfredo and my husband had the special, marry me steak n’ potatoes! The atmosphere was great and the Christmas decor was on point!
