My wife and I started with the Crab ball appetizer, real crab meat and very good. We then shared the house special, Beef Wellington with honey glazed carrots and mashed potatoes. The meat was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere, service, and food are top notch! We will definitely be back!

Food quality was really good but a tad overpriced for what they were serving.
That being said, it was probably the BEST meatball sub I’ve ever had.
Staff was.. There. Lol. Not bad, but definitely not good.
Great atmosphere. The music wasn’t my personal jam. But they have TVs on… but they’re all muted without subtitles… I feel like it doesn’t take a very smart person to figure that out..??

We enjoyed the crabby tater tots! The restaurant is cozy and quiet. We tried fried oysters and shrimp, as well as Mac and Cheese. Our server was amazing and cocktails delicious. We had Orange and Grapefruit Crushes.:)

My wife and I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon. We were quickly greeted and seated.
The food was absolutely amazing and our server Megan was very polite.
We had the loaded blue cheese chips, I had the Big Mike, my wife had the French onion soup and my son had the chicken tenders.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. It’s nice being able to eat somewhere that’s not a chain restaurant.

We just had our first visit to The Local, and we are officially hooked! From the moment we walked in, the service was incredible. Our server was so kind and attentive—she even surprised us with a free cheesecake to-go just because it was our first time there. Talk about a warm welcome!
The food was 10/10 across the board:
The Wings: Q said they absolutely rocked—perfectly cooked and flavorful.
The Burger (Mike Melt): This was fantastic. Juicy, seasoned perfectly, and hit the spot. Great homemade sauce
Hush Puppies: To die for! The honey butter they come with is addictive.
Chicken Gumbo: Two words: OMG delicious.
It’s rare to find a place where the atmosphere, the staff, and every single dish on the table are this good. We’ve definitely found our new “go-to” spot. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out!

Megan our server was fabulous. The food is high quality. Had crab cake, fried shrimp, zucchini and sweet potato fries. Will be my new go to spot for lunch meetings. So good I forgot to take a picture. Crab cake is superb!

Service is always amazing! From the moment you walk in the door, you feel you’re home to enjoy some home-cookin! Some of my favorites are the mozzarella sticks (their homemade marinara is so thick and delicious), Chesapeake Eggs Benedict, kale (exactly how my grandparents made it), and the french dip (ohhhh that au jus!). Cocktails and wine selection are wonderful. Big compliments to the chefs/cooks (you are talented!!), and all the staff. Every experience in your restaurant has been 5 stars and I hope you’re around for a very long time! Thank you!!

We came in for Valentine’s Day and were seated right away! We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp, chicken and dumplings, and New England clam chowder — all absolutely outstanding. For our entrées, we had the Beef Wellington and the Steak and Cake. The steak was cooked to perfection! Everything, right down to the desserts, was amazing. We will definitely be recommending The Local!
