We stopped by Lobster Shack Key West and tried the classic lobster roll. While it didn’t quite beat DJ’s Clam Shack for me, it was definitely close and still very good. The lobster was fresh and well-prepared, and my girlfriend really liked how nicely toasted the bread was—it added great texture to the roll.
The wait was minimal, which was a nice surprise, and they even threw in a few pieces of chips, which was a thoughtful touch. Simple, casual, and satisfying overall. A solid spot for a lobster roll if you’re in Key West.

A cute little restaurant close to the Southernmost Buoy. Just a few tables and bar stools. They have a limited menu. The service was very quick. The 4 star rating for the food was just because there were a few hard pieces in my lobster roll (cartilage or shell). They have a few beverages. The lobster roll came with some chips and a pickle. They do accept payment by credit card

Not going to lie, this was the best Lobster roll I’ve had in my entire life. Very fresh, very meaty, no mayo. Incredibly moist, succulent and flavorful. Will absolutely come back here and highly recommend their Key Lime Lobster Roll or Lobster grilled cheese!

Found this tiny little hidden gem. Excellent lobster roll on fresh made warm bun! When I go back, it was so good definitely will not split my order, I’ll get my own! Very friendly owner and staff. Have cash or credit card, no Apple Pay or wallet type payments accepted.

Such a cute little place to visit if you want to try lobster. My friends had the Diablo, which is apparently the best lobster roll they’ve ever had. I had the lobster bisque, also the best I’ve ever had. I’d come back for more!!

If you’re in Key West, you absolutely must check out Lobster Shack. I mean, seriously, when I say these are some of the best lobster rolls I’ve ever had, I’m not exaggerating. They’re packed with so much lobster, you won’t believe how much meat you get! And let me tell you, Tim, the owner, is the best. The customer service is top-notch. We stayed for four days in Key West and went to Lobster Shack twice. I can’t recommend this place enough. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Great lobster rolls with an easygoing vibe! There is nothing fancy here but the food does not disappoint. The Key West Lobster Roll is a great choice if you are not a fan of mayo. The Diablo has little spice and the fresh cut jalapeños added some spicy crunch.

Excellent lobster rolls. Clean establishment that was very inviting. I had the Key West Lobster Roll which has lime ok it. It was excellent. We sat inside but there is outside seating available too.
