The 12-oyster set was wonderful, fresh oysters, and interestingly, there were signs indicating the type. The crab steak was also very tasty and tender, the tuna steak was very tasty, and I want to note that the portion was quite large, the cocktails were also wonderful. Everything was top notch. If we’re ever in Warsaw, we’ll definitely be back. We highly recommend it! The price is justified!
My Uber ran late, which made me late for the reservation. When I called, the gentleman who answered joked light-heartedly that since they were fully booked, being late wasn’t the worst thing — which actually eased my stress a bit.
When I arrived, the manager who greeted me was very kind, though it was clear the team was extremely busy. I was seated at the bar, which was a bit messy at first with used dishes and glasses, and getting started felt slightly awkward. However, once things got going, the bartenders were friendly and attentive.
I ordered a virgin mojito and selected six oysters (which my bartender walked me through choosing — a nice touch). They were excellent. I also had the steamed seafood entrée with bread and later a crème brûlée with black coffee to finish. The food was truly amazing. It was on the pricier side (about $198 total), but for a Valentine’s Day seafood dinner, it felt worth it.
There was a tense moment during service when one staff member openly confronted my bartender, which was uncomfortable to witness. That said, the manager and my bartender handled the situation professionally and continued providing great service. Throughout my meal, I appreciated the perfect balance of attentiveness — I was checked on without feeling interrupted, and my bartender seemed to intuitively know when I needed something.
While it would have been a thoughtful gesture to offer a small dessert or discount given the visible disruption, it didn’t overshadow the experience.
Overall, the team worked well together under pressure, the food was outstanding, and I left feeling it was still a win — especially on one of the busiest nights of the year. Kudos to the staff for pushing through a challenging service.
The truffle scallop pasta was another highlight of the evening. Perfectly cooked pasta, tender scallops, and that subtle truffle note tying it all together – indulgent but very well done. Service throughout the night was smooth and professional. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went seamlessly without being intrusive.
Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side compared to other restaurants in Warsaw, but considering the location, atmosphere, and overall food quality, it makes sense. If you’re looking for a refined seafood experience in the city, The Lobster House is worth a visit.
We booked a table online and we had to pay a reservation fee to secure the table, but this seemed like a normal practice since it was for New Year’s Eve and they discount the fee from the final price.
The restaurant has a prime location and a very nice decoration. The staff was also very professional.
Our food was delicious: caviar for starters and jumbo shrimps as the main course. Everything was fresh and tasty, it was an amazing dinner. There was some waiting time for the main course, though (1h), but we attributed that to the New Year’s Eve high affluence. The room was also rather hot, so come wearing layers even if it is cold outside.
An expensive meal, but one great memory from Warsaw. Would definitely come back!
