We had the twin lobster dinner and it was amazing! They were good sized, about and 1 and 1/2 pounds a piece. They were selects and very sweet and had a lot of meat in them. The corn on the cob was also delicious as well. The service was very professional and fast. I would say they have the best lobster around!

We stopped here for dinner to go one night and breakfast the next morning before heading out of town. Really, really enjoyed the lobster rolls (mayo based and super delicious) and the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. Liz was delightful and friendly both times!

This was my first experience dinning here. 4 of us locals decided to meet here for a lunch. I ordered the meatloaf, boiled red potatoes and creamed style corn. 2 nice slices of meatloaf which was close to mom’s. A bottle of Dr. Pepper to drink for a total of $ 12.10. We were all satisfied.

The lobster/corn chowder and the seafood chowder were delicious, so full of seafood. Broth was thin & light, so not overly filling with all the meat & potatoes. All the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming.

I have eaten at the restaurant twice now,,, they are 0-2 with me…the first time I ate at this restaurant it was for breakfast. I seen they had Is corned beef hash on the menu, being a lover of the hash, I ordered it, yeah that was a mistake.. the has seriously looked like the night before corned beef soup or stew that they tryd to pass off has the next mornings hash, with its huge pieces of carrots that overpowered the corned beef. Lol. I would have rather had the canned corned beef hash then this… the second time I went to this restaurant I ordered biscuits and gravy,,,,, now, I don’t know about you but when I order biscuits and gravy I want my gravy running all over my biscuits, where was the gravy???it was a pile of wet ground sausage put on top of the biscuits,, there was no gravy. it literally was just a ground sausage and biscuit. There was “NO” white gravy.. I was able to pick the biscuits and what they called gravy up with my hands and not have anything run off the biscuit…. I’m sorry but biscuits and gravy doesn’t mean a biscuits and meat paste… probably will not be going back for the 3rd time….. on the upside,,, the waitress was really sweet and stayed on top of things.

Really enjoyed eating at this family owned and operated restaurant. The grandkids catch the lobster, restaurant cooks it and you eat it and it’s great everytime at a reasonable price. We also purchased several live lobsters to cook ourselves…. we’ll be back everytime we’re in the Bar Harbor area. The restaurant also serves breakfast all day and have other entree’s as well.
