On top of that, the owner is very kind and really cares about your experience. You don’t just feel like a customer here, you feel appreciated.
Can’t recommend highly enough!
I spent about $50 on a Lobster roll & a plate of speghetti noodles – seriously
I can’t recommend either of them. But the owner was so kind I think they will get better
There’s a video, you be the judge.
$19+Tx $22 ROLL: 2 Lobster claws the size of an oversize Crawfish, tender, but low flavor, on butter grilled potato sliced bread. SIDE: Coleslaw: Fresh, crunchy & soaked in mayonnaise. No dill, no pepper, powders, or flavor etc
$23+Tx $25 SPEGHETTI: I asked & was told it was regular spaghetti. But the Thai sauce grabbed my attention. I like actual Thai food, so.. why not. I received the same small two claws slightly broken across the top food & nothing else. This however, not Thai Sauce, was good. Waaay overpriced, but good. WITH A SIDE OF NOTHING. Just the same piece of bread as the Lobster Claw.
There’s a TV up & a golf play area, a few chairs bar style & a few couches.
If you go, good for you. But maybe try something else.
Let me just say: WOW! The Lobster Cage has a simple menu, but the items are a unique blend of Thai and New England origins!
Atmosphere: The restaurant is a little whole-in-the-wall with limited seating and a big mom-and-pop vibe!
Service: The people here are awesome. We received friendly service, and the orders were prepared so quickly!
Menu items: I just got the Warm Lobster Roll with a side of potato salad. The lobster roll was scrumptious (that’s right—I had to find a strong adjective to describe it). They add a lemon on the side to add a varied flavor profile. Also, I’m usually not a big fan of potato salad, but this one was salted and peppered to perfection
I’ve had a couple of lobster rolls in Pensacola and one in Maine. This place really caters to the New England style and adds its own uniqueness with the Thai infused dishes! I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items like the Lobster Grilled Cheese, Lobster and Thai Infused Pasta, and Lobster Quesadilla!
Edit: Came back again and tried the Lobster Thai Pasta. Really delicious and has the option to control the spicy level as you request. This time I remembered to take pictures. 10/10 recommend.
The seafood pasta was packed with flavor. They did not skimp on the meat. The service was good. The restaurant was clean. I recommend this restaurant. We will return.
