Great meeting place for hang outs, coffee, studying. It’s quiet enough to have a conversation or study, but still privacy. Cool vibe. Interesting coffee options. I’ve never been impressed by the food though. For the price, I’d expect better but I like the atmosphere enough that I’ll keep going back for the lattes.

Conventional is definitely not what they were going for here, and while a conventionalist, this place was rather nice and I do enjoy my time.
While I didn’t get top shelf menu items the food was still nice, and I’d be lying if I said I would not be going back.
The digital aspect of the restaurant was actually quite nice and fit everything so well.

Staff is kind. Drinks are decorated beautifully and are delicious. The few food items I’ve had are also wonderful. Definitely will be visiting again!

Great cocktails and food. Many vegetarian options and some can be made vegan! For a drinks centric place, the food is extremely delicious! Great service and ambience. They have happy hours until 6, and low price drinks on Thursdays..

If you’re in the Downtown area of Lafayette Indiana and you DON’T stop here, you’re missing out! The Americana, the hot cocoa, the Ambassador… first class! This is the best kept secret in the Tippecanoe County area!

What a wonderful cafe to have some snack and some caffeine. The door and sign is kinda small and you might miss it. But you should able to see people drinking coffee by the big window.
Affordable price and exceptional service. Drinks are served in proper drinkware which is glass or ceramic cup and they bring your order to your table, unlike many cafe where they place everybody orders on the counter.
Great cup of coffee. Doesn’t taste burnt or too acidic.

I think they know how to do coffee. Or at least, want to being doing it right.
Unlike many college town coffee shops the baristas seem to care about the coffee itself. I overheard some baristas talking about the espresso weird weird and pulling inconsistently. Then then proceeded to troubleshoot the issue mostly the right way. I mean, I only know what I watch on YouTube. But I think they were mostly right in their troubleshooting. That boosted my confidence in their intention and the product.
My grey Capp itself was ok. I don’t think the taste I didn’t love was due to anything except the beans themselves. They tasted a bit sharp to me. They might have just been a darker roast than I wanted.
Atmosphere was formal. It was a good mix of lively and chill. People were on laptops, engaged in conversation, and eating. I would hang out for a while.
I can’t speak for the food, but I think the coffee here has a lot of potential.

My Favorite Coffee Spot in Lafayette
This has pretty much become my go-to coffee shop whenever I need to get work done. The ambiance is perfect—most coffee shops blast their music way too loud, but here, it’s a perfect balance.
Great menu options, plenty of natural light, friendly service, and lots of outlets.

Greyhouse is notorious for slow service, but today was especially bad. I ordered a Mediterranean salad which took 45 minutes to receive. My friend’s food, which was ordered right before mine and was on the same ticket, came 25 minutes earlier (a 20 minute wait, which is totally reasonable). I checked on my food twice after my friend had received hers. The first time I asked, the staff member assured me she was “sure it was coming” but didn’t actually check with the kitchen. Not helpful. The second time, a staff member looked and said there were 8 orders ahead of mine. I was glad to have an update, but I have no idea why so many orders were ahead of mine when my friend’s food had been ordered right before mine and come much sooner. She was already done eating. Regardless, I asked that my order be changed to “to go” because I was now nearing being late to my next plans. Sure enough, it did not come as to-go, taking more time to be packaged up. And as a bonus, the falafel was even forgotten on my salad. I was just so unimpressed by the service, especially for the price of the food and drink.

Really great place to grab a great cocktail or bite to eat! We enjoyed the charcuterie board while we studied- good selection of tables, booths, and lounging chairs. Great atmosphere for a study group or date night. One thing to note is that most of the wooden chairs are pretty tiny and felt a bit unsteady when our party tried to sit. Not an issue for us but may be an accessibility concern for some. The chai tea cocktail was our favorite drink of the night. Highly recommend!
