The living room is a different experience but very nice. They do take reservations and there is a 20% add-on for tips but all the servers did it equally split up. So we left our waitress Francis extra money cuz she went above and beyond with the table of 13 people. Food was on time. Food was hot. The steaks are huge. Pork ragu was excellent. Now these dinners do not come with soup or salad, so you might want to order a couple of appetizers like Francis suggested, which were excellent. Like I said our waitress Francis is amazing. My dad’s 92 years old and in a walker and she took very good care of him with the plate settings on the table and getting him extra napkins. Good suggestions on the drinks we got from the bar also which were made wonderfully. Thanks Francis. You made my sister’s birthday very special for her ❤️

The Living Room never disappoints! The drinks were amazing — the spicy margarita was absolutely yummy ️ — and the buffalo cauliflower was SO good. Like… order-it-again good.
Brunch here is always a favorite, but what really made the experience stand out was the service. Francis was awesome — so sweet, super helpful, and truly gave top-notch service. You can tell she genuinely cares about making your experience great.
Great food, great drinks, and incredible service. We’ll definitely be back!

Wow I cannot believe I havent written a review on this spot yet with the amount times Ive come!
Ive been here numerous times for brunch, lunch, happy hour, and dinner.
I will say brunch here is my favorite. The food, service, ambiance, and cocktails are always great. Happy hour is on point too. Their beignets and mimosa flights are my favorite.
Same owners own black pearl and sonder social club. They do add 20% gratuity to all checks but service has always been spot on.

We had a great time here! There’s plenty of room to sit outside if the weather is nice, and the service was outstanding. We had the pasta and the Smashburger, both of which we enjoyed very much although I found the french fries to be pedestrian. Kat was tending bar and she was super nice and made us some great cocktails! The burger was so good. I literally would go back just for that.

Our waiter was great, informative, quick and friendly. The atmosphere is good, amusing lighting, a little noisy, could do with some sound deadening.
The food……….. Started with some delicious bread with pretty bland whipped cheese and pickle. Mains were disappointing, my shredded beef was smothered in a brown gravy more at home in a school canteen, didn’t really matter what was underneath as the gravy was dominant . My meal included some undercooked cabbage stalk I will be happy to not see again. My wife had fried Tofu, bland sums it up. Both meals were served lukewarm.
It seems that The Living Room is aiming high but without the skills to achieve it.

The restaurant is very cute and had excellent service. The food was very average. The server ended up taking one of our meals off the ticket because it was so bland. I thought that was very nice.

Went in for Valentine’s Day, which as someone who worked years in the service industry I completely understand how busy holidays like these are, especially with it being a Saturday night. We had a reservation for 7:30 & arrived 10 mins early. We also paid $20 for the reservation since it was a busy night. The menu was a 4 course meal with very limited options. We were told we only had 90 minutes to eat, which would not have been an issue except for the fact our whole service for 2 people took 90 mins. We were sat at a table so close to the other tables we were basically shoulder to shoulder for one. We placed drinks as the very first thing to order & our waiter completely forgot them, took about 30 mins to get our drinks. We understand things happen & we were not disappointed. However, as the night went on, we kept having the wrong meals brought out to our table over & over, as well as the table next to us. The options for the valentines menu sounded great & we were truly excited for them, but it took over 20-25 mins for each item to come out even with a limited preset menu. Each item that came out was cold & honestly not very tasty. For a 20% standard service charge the food was subpar as well as the service. Was our first time & we were excited to try but we will definitely not be back & will not be recommending this place to anyone

The name was interesting and the interior is cute…but the food and service is lacking. We came in on a Friday night for some signature drinks and wanted to try an item on the menu they gave us. One of the drinks wasnt available and the food item was only for brunch. We returned the next day for the brunch item a dessert roll and waited for 20 min…(Place had 3 tables ) After 20 min we asked about the roll and they said order didn’t go through and they gave us the roll cold in 30 seconds no napkins…the roll was $13 and didn’t taste fresh.it tasted moldy….so paid $13 and waited 20 min for a stale moldy roll with attitude…I would skip this place….poorly managed establishment. I see all the replies here from the manager focused on the servers and not the food …fix your food and stop blaming your servers.

Overall, a pleasant surprise and wonderful experience. Great lunch options with happy hours drinks starting at 2 pm. (Different dining and drinking specials every night starting at 6 pm.) The Black Pearl Salad is huge, so delicious, and is the same ingredients as they have at the Black Pearl, the exclusive restaurant up the street. TLR Party Melt was a great sandwich, which would only have been made better by serving it with a pickle. Helpful staff. Decor is lovely and the music added much fun. Occasional humming and singing along could be heard to familiar tunes playing at the perfect volume. Will definitely return.

Walked by here so many times and finally stopped for some food. The frittata we ordered wasn’t great, dry and the chorizo tasted old which isn’t easy to do, I have had chorizo in my fridge last for over a week without tasting old. Had that feeling that we were a pain for them to even sit us down let alone serve us. All in all a really bad experience for a place that obviously considers itself high end. Your service absolutely doesn’t reflect that. Maybe if you didn’t automatically add 20% to your customers bill, your employees would provide better service but we all know it starts with management so get a better manager or learn how to manage better.
