We got a pressed cheese burger with fries and cheese steak with onion rings, on god, best onion rings I ever had!!! Cheeseburger was hand pattyed huge and also delicious!! Fries were hot and delicious!! My roommate had the cheese steak with onion rings. I ate all her onion rings, im not even ashamed lol. The cheese steak was excellent!! The bread was soft and meat and cheese perfect! Got some lemon cake to go!! Beautiful place, it was warm, inviting and we will definitely be back to try the 5.50 poor man’s breakfast!!!

We tried this place out for the first time. I wasn’t busy, and the staff provided super friendly service. We took him up on his recommendations and really enjoyed the unique rice/chicken balls, chicken cheesesteak sandwich and cheeseburger. We enjoyed a piece of their pound cake the next day because we were too full to it that night. The decor is awesome and not like you’ll find anywhere else. It’s a little hard to get to since the Bush river exit closed, but worth the trip to try something different.

First time in the restaurant. We were greeted very nice. Ordered the lemon pepper wings and tried the lime pepper wings which were very well seasoned hot and good. Mango pepper will be on my list . To drink I ask for the Kool aid RED of course. Over all we will be back and try the breakfast items next time. A good place to bring family and friends . A good brunch spot for my girls.

Called in a order for lunch at this establishment for the first time. I ordered the Double Pressed Burger with Cheese, along with six Hot Honey Wings, along with a Grape Kool-Aid. Loved the flavor of the wings, they were delicious. The burger was amazing! That grape kool aid took me back to my childhood days! Will definitely have to go back to try more of their menu options. The service and atmosphere was good.

I had the burger and it was cooked to perfection. The beef was not a frozen patty. The server was pleasant and responsive. This is my new place to eat when I am in town. Execellent service, food and atmosphere. Definitely recommend!!!

Absolutely amazing! The Living Room Cafe SC is one of those rare hidden gems that you’re so glad you stumbled upon. From the very first bite, it’s clear they take their food seriously — everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with heart. The menu is full of comfort food done right, with generous portion sizes that leave you satisfied but already thinking about your next visit.

Whether it’s a perfectly cooked breakfast or a hearty lunch, every dish feels homemade and full of love. It’s the kind of place where you can taste the care in every ingredient. The vibe is cozy, warm, and welcoming — exactly what you’d hope for in a spot called The Living Room Cafe.

It’s absolutely worth the trip, even if you’re not local. Some of the best places are the ones you almost miss — and this one is so worth finding. I’ll definitely be coming here every chance I get. Don’t sleep on this spot — you’ll regret it if you do!

I recently stopped by here to eat after seeing so many good reviews on TikTok. The front staff was super helpful when recommending menu items. My choice was the Metro Chopped Cheese Salmon (lettuce, tomato & onions added) with a side salad. Food 100/10. All the flavors combined was literally chefs kiss. To top off the experience, IM TELLING & NOT ASKING, grab a slice of red velvet cake on the way out! You won’t be disappointed.

Everything was excellent, along with great service and a great atmosphere. We got 2 of the steak chop sandwiches, the pancake breakfast sandwich, a pressed burger, onion rings, and the Mac and cheese bites. Everything was homemade and delicious, the onion rings were sliced thin and fried to perfection, the Mac and cheese bites were packed with cheese and had crispy breading. The steak chop sandwiches were reminiscent of a traditional Philly from the actual city of Philadelphia. Definitely stop by here if you are feeling a homemade breakfast/lunch with an absurdly reasonably price point. Will definitely be stopping in again the next time we’re even near Columbia!

We really were hoping, based on the posted reviews, that we had found a diamond in the rough, a local hole in the wall, a new favorite breakfast place, but we will not be back. When we drove up to a 3/4 empty parking lot of a very deserted strip mall, it didn’t bode well. We walked inside and were greeted right away, asked if we were there for take out. We said dine in & were handed poorly laminated one sheet menus and told we could sit anywhere…because the place was completely empty…at 1:30pm on a Sunday. The place was clean and decor appropriate. We ordered coffee and breakfast. The coffee was gas station quality (worse than diner coffee) and they were out of pork sausage and when I asked for all the veggies in my omelet I was told he’d put in whatever they had available (but neglected to mention which veggies that would be). The menu had options like spinach and mushrooms, onions, peppers, etc. The omelet came with peppers & bacon since they were out of sausage. My husband’s soft scrambled eggs came out still raw and runny – not properly soft scrambled. The grits had no discernible flavor and had lumps. The Texas toast was the thinnest and smallest variety I’ve seen served in a southern restaurant.
To top all this off – everything was served on/in styrofoam as if we had ordered takeout. No real silverware, just the tiny fork/knife/spoon combo you get from the most inexpensive takeout restaurants.
Also – I know we were the only guests, but blaring the show “Cops” from the bar area while the “host” stands there watching doesn’t make for a very appealing atmosphere for brunch.
Needless to say most of the food ended up in the trash can, including two coffees with just sips taken out of them. We cleared our own places since both the “host” and “waiter” were busy watching Cops on tv, and we paid and left.
