Nice and quiet little tavern with excellent service and food. The MD Crab Soup is full of crab meat but a little bitter. The Crabcake Sandwich was also full of meat very little filler and definitely close to the best I’ve had. If you like potato skins – definitely try them here – they are done perfectly. The homemade ranch is also a must. The staff was also very friendly and attentive.

ribs, so I could take half home for tomorrow. I’ve eaten ribs all over the country, never had any this bad. Also, the beans tasted a week old, and the cornbread was very stale. The coleslaw was terrible and tasted sour.

My wife and I stayed at The Inn At Herr Ridge as a last minute getaway. During our stay we went to The Livery which is right next to the main Inn. We initially were only going to have drinks as we had eaten earlier and were not extremely hungry.

We are in Gettysburg on a monthly basis and have never eaten here. I wish we would have stopped here sooner! The staff is amazing and the food was delicious! Prices are very reasonable and well worth it. We will be returning more often now.

As soon as you walk in the door, it’s very welcoming and quaint. Service was really good. Food was Amazing. The Only thing was when I ordered the spare ribs, they were dry and over cooked. When I mentioned they were like that. The waiter stated he thought they looked overdone and he replaced them right away, and they were Amazing. The baked beans were so good, and I rarely ever got baked beans but I’m so glad I did! Overall, great food and service!

Had a very poor dining experience here. Service poor, wings fair, nice salad. Full rack of ribs did not fall off the bone instead needed to use a knife to separate ribs.Baked beans were tasteless and cold slaw was so watery. Wife had lump crab cakes that had NO taste what so ever and needed more lemons to salvage and the snap peas were wilted. Waitress was very poor server

Stopped in for a beer and something to snack on and maybe dinner. We ordered the loaded fries and a couple of beers. After the loaded fries we decided not to eat dinner. Based on what we did eat I really did not want to waste my money with ordering dinner. Did not enjoy the atmosphere it felt stuffy and was ready to leave ASAP.

No stars! Horrible. $21.95 for steak and shrimp kabobs came with quinoa and vegetables. Well there were 2 shrimp 2 pieces of steak and 2 pieces of pink scallops on the kabobs. The quinoa was weird looking. The vegetables of the day were apparently the 2 pieces of peppers on the kabobs. Waiter forgot to bring our appetizer before our meal. Ice tea was horrible!

Very odd experience here. Some friends and I walked in at 5:30pm for dinner and waited to be seated. A few guys were at the bar having drinks so the restaurant appeared to be open. But then a waitress comes over and says “sorry we’re closed we don’t have staff”. Yet two other guys walked in behind us and the waitress asked them if they were with the other guys and let them in. Not sure how you’re “closed” if other people are dining at the bar. Then as we’re walking out, the waitress yells to someone that they need to lock the door. I’m sorry but if you’re really closed, wouldn’t you put a sign on the door and wouldn’t the bar be closed too?? No interest in trying this place again just from this weird interaction.

The place is nice, they have a lot of food options and the service is good. Our food was good, it has a good taste and a good flavor. They also serve alcohol. I recommend this place to everyone.
