I come to Jacksonville a few times a year on business and have heard about this place for several years, but could never align with their hours until last evening. Boy, was it ever worth the wait! Started with a delightful Manhattan (had two just to be certain), a wedge salad (cleaned the plate on that), and then the Calabrian pizza. And what an OUTSTANDING pizza it was (and I’m comparing with Frank Pepe in New Haven, CT). The Little Stove is most definitely worth going out of your way for and my only regret is that I don’t have two stomachs so I could have eaten more.

Bellissima Piccola Stufa!! Pictures do not suffice! Chef Andrew makes amazing Neapolitan pizza! You can taste and see his passion for Italian cooking! Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was really nice! Jacksonville has quite a highlight in their town!

The Little Stove is absolutely worth the drive! Their pizza is incredible and the Caesar salad is hands-down one of the best I’ve had. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I happily drive two hours just to enjoy their food, and it never disappoints. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and make the trip — you won’t regret it!

My coworker and I were in town on business and decided to give The Little Stove a try. The food was absolutely delicious, and the charming atmosphere added to the appeal. However, the early closing time of 7 p.m. felt a bit restrictive. Around 6:30, the staff began playing loud music, which made it clear they were preparing to close up. Unfortunately, this created a less-than-welcoming vibe toward the end of our meal.

OMG…this place is crazy good. The pizzas are hot and fresh and absolutely craveable. Salads are beautiful as well, very nicely presented and adorned. House made dressings put them over the top. They are so confident about their food there are no S&P shakers or any sauces on the table, although they will bring some if you must. Personally I like hot sauce and they do have Calabrian chili oil which is fantastic ( wish they would put the actual chilis on the salami pizza). I would also like to be able to add anchovies to any pizza I order. Have only had pizza and salads so can’t speak to the other hot dishes that appear from time to time, mostly during the evening service. This place is crazy good. Bravo

Stopped in today for lunch with my daughter. The restaurant was busy but we quickly found a spot at the bar to eat and watch the staff cook and make drinks, which was fun to see! The service was wonderful and the food was absolutely perfect. We tried several items off the menu and everything delicious. Our favorite was the Caesar salad with steak bites. We will be back soon!

In town for Business, looking for a healthy fresh option and came across this place..Highly recommend! Read the story behind!!! This South side Chi Town person loves a good Crust on the Pizza!!Good for solo dining and small groups. Great service, very kitschy decor and chill vibe with a view of the historically interesting view of their time square and a modern vibe! Soup of the day was a Spring Asparagus with Bacon so delish, light( not heavy cream but just natural) and so fresh! I also had the Margherita Pizza…the crust…so delish! This South Side Chicago person loves a good Doughy crust! The San Marzano sauce and fresh Basil and cheese…so So delish!

It would be nice to leave a review of the food, however, after checking the hours online and facebook, picking up my disabled friend and driving 40 minutes to Jacksonville, only to find…THE DOORS WERE LOCKED. Food ‘may’ be good, but their management needs to level UP.

Food is always fabulous as is the staff. I really enjoy my time there and usually pop in with a book from Our Town books to read while I eat. I really just wish they had a non alcoholic wine to drink so I didn’t have to get fancied up club soda or something like that to enjoy at night.
