Less crowded than expected. The food was absolutely amazing. And the most caring waiter I’ve seen so far.

I went here with friends to dine in. The staff was pleasant. We got chicken biryani which was seasoned basmati rice mixed with chopped chicken, and Rogan Josh which was essentially lamb curry. The dishes were spicy as specified. The mango lassi which is yogurt with mango was nice as well. Not a lot of people dine in here as we were the only ones there. I have ordered from here as well and the dishes which included chicken tikka masala with garlic naan tasted just as good. I would recommend this place.

First time coming here. I ordered to go. Lamb samosa, rice, lamb vindaloo, naan. I got home and so excited since it’s been a while I had Indian food. As I was transferring the rice on my plate I noticed something. Something curly in the rice. I picked it up and it was 1/2 an inch of shaved metal. Glad I saw it before eating the rice. Very disappointed as a first time customer. Lamb vindaloo could use a bit more vinegar. That’s my experience today.

Honestly one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to in Chicago. And I’m from here! I’ve been to several and love Indian food. We ordered a few chicken dishes, vegetable dishes, naan, rice… all incredibly well cooked and delicious… hidden gem!!!! Great service as well.

Am Sorry. The worst food i ever had in my life. I ordered mughalai lamb biriyani and Mughalai combo with garlic naan. I could not eat any of them at all. i had severe stomach upset and had throw all of them. They all tasted like spoiled food. I ordered food for $50 and tried to reach the restaurant to check what went wrong. but no follow ups after trying to reach them twice. Never trying here again and definitely not letting my friends have food here. Complete waste of money. Just expecting quality food for the money i pay and i think its not a too much of a ask.

The food is outstanding! It has to be the most underrated Indian restaurant on the Northside of Chicago! The ambiance of the restaurant is really lacking and the service was not great, but I would go back just because the food was so good

I am not sure what happened to this place! When they opened their vegetarian food tasted way better. I went there a few days ago to order an eggplant dish and literally there was no pieces of eggplant anywhere in the dish. The veggies in that dish tasted like frozen veggies! Even the rice (which you had to buy separately) with veggies tasted like frozen veggies! No fresh vegetables at all!!! . Way too many spices ingredients in the eggplant entree and even pieces of lemon peel!! I love Indian food but this place has changed. I will just go to my usual Devon restaurant for food.

Tiny restaurant, but delicious food, and the new dining patterns in this country means you’ll probably never have to wait for a table. The meat dishes are exquisite, which is pretty hard to find.
