Had such high expectations we came in so excited all the way from NYC. Unfortunately all of our sandwiches came out horrible and no one really cared. We couldn’t finish eating and had to leave. A bacon egg and cheese on a bagel should have melted cheese. Not 1 slice of COLD cheese !!!! The eggs are burnt and the bagels were not toasted on all 3 of our sandwiches. Also for paying $10 for a sandwich you would expect more the only 2 slices on bacon. I would not come back here at all. We try to support small businesses because they work hard and have great quality. This stores quality and care for food was unfortunately a 0/10. Do not recommend there are much better places in Hoboken.

My favourite Sunday routine is coming here! The staff & owner are so friendly and inviting. The lavender latte (add vanilla) is my favourite with the scones or croissants. Get the window seat, its the best! or outdoors when the weather permits.

Cute little cafe. I’ve been a few times and every time I’ve been satisfied. Today I tried their brown sugar, cinnamon oat latte and it was delicious! My go to is usually a bagel, however last time they were out and their employee recommended I try an egg sandwich on a roll. They did not disappoint! It was made on the spot and was fresh. 10/10

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write a review for this place, but here we are! I absolutely love it here. They have a hard-working staff that make absolutely delicious, fresh breakfast sandwiches. You can get a slew of other things, of course, but the pumpernickel bacon, egg and cheese is my go-to. The drinks are also amazing. I prefer the chai latte. If you’re looking for a cozy little nook in Hoboken to have some breakfast or coffee, this is the place!

I moved to Jersey City a year ago and Little Grocery is the only spot in Hoboken I’ll continue to come back to!! The sandwiches are amazing (the Pickler is the best), the egg sandwiches are delicious, and the lattes are so good and unique (the PB&J latte is my favorite). To top it all off, the owners and everyone who works there are amazing!!!

My boyfriend and I went out to eat today, we always love supporting small businesses. We decided to check this place out and we loved it, the environment was very nice, the food was great. I loved the drink that I got, I bought the raspberry lime beverage and it was amazing, it reminded me of my favorite childhood drink. I also ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel, it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this establishment to any other couple, we really loved our experience and I look forward to eating here again. The service was amazing as well, I loved everything.

stepped in here today as it was raining and badly needed a coffee after a massage appointment. the man behind the counter was nice and cordial. however there is a curly haired lady who avoided eye contact and if you by chance met her eyes, she turned away rudely, very strange, maybe overworked but there is no need for unprovoked impoliteness. she seemed to be nice with some other folks she knows but as a first time customer not sure if coming back as the atmosphere isn’t very pleasant and welcoming.

I had a great breakfast at The Little Grocery. The Egg, Asiago, Tomato & Pesto sandwich on a croissant was delicious—flaky, fresh, and full of flavor. The iced coffee was perfect too. Friendly staff and a nice, cozy spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Honestly, this was the worst bagel I’ve ever had. The wait time was long, and the quality did not justify it at all—it took about 20 minutes just to get two bagel sandwiches. The bagels tasted stale, and the bacon wasn’t cooked properly. I was really surprised by how low the quality was overall. The only redeeming part of the experience was that the latte was actually good.

Food very good, place great atmosphere, NY Times was on the table for patrons (a big plus), service could use another person. I asked for Brown sugar, the container was empty (in my opinion need to go in earlier or stay late and take care of the basics), after I asked the second time I got the box of brown sugar and the container of Brown sugar filled with white sugar. Avocado toast was excellent, scrambled eggs were delicious, coffee was good (cold by the time I got the sugar) and good. In their defense they were packed with customers.
