We originally loved this place for the food, happy hour, and proximity (less than one mile from our house). However, it’s the people we fell in love with the most. They treat us like family. They have even made us items not on the menu from scratch! Shrimp flautas! They are the kindest and hardest working people we know! My little one knows them by name, Selina, Francisco, Katie, and everyone are great! It’s a really fun atmosphere and great food and drinks!

I was just about to leave a 5 star review until i got the check. Food is great but over priced. Most expensive mexican restaurant ive been to. Yes the prices are on the menu but most are so streamline i didnt pay attention. Typically use to a $40 check for 2. This was $53 for 2. And thats BEFORE the tip. I passed every mexican restaurant from northport to moundville to try this one.

The food (especially kids menu) was fantastic! The food was clearly cooked with passion and care. The server we had was quiet but very friendly!! The atmosphere is delightful music that’s not to loud but still able to hear and very clean surprisingly! Overall would go to again and would recommend!!

I would like to give a huge shout out to the awesome man that waited on my son Friday night 1/24/25 it was taken out . My son didn’t realize he had lost his wallet until Saturday morning and not only did the man lock it up in the safe he met my son at the restaurant to make sure he was the right person. My son offered him $100 and he refused and said you need your money. Not only is there food awesome, there service is and there honesty. These days honest people rarely exist but there is one you can find at Little Gran in Moundville Alabama. Sorry my son didn’t get his name .

My biggest criticism and I pray this will be seen and changed is how INSANELY overpriced the cheese dip is. Although it tastes great, the prices on that have GOT to change. I have to say, it’s just not quite as good as the original La gran on 69 but overall it’s pretty good. My other complaint is the hard shell tacos are consistently soggy and the beef inside always has a strange, bad taste. I always try to give them another chance because I love tacos but they are always so bad I’ve never finished eating a single one. The Roy special and the cheese dip are so delicious they carry the whole restaurant in my opinion. The steak quesadillas and rice and beans are also always very good. I think the service and atmosphere in this location is much better than the original location. Overall the Roy special is the only thing special about the restaurant..

Great food and service! The Roy Special is Amazing as always! My girls enjoyed their chicken tenders. Some times they are slow to bring the ticket so you feel like a hostage.
