If I could give 10 stars I would. Went there with coworkers for some karaoke and just to vibe. We were not disappointed. Service was on point our waitress was playful and fun. Jimmy D was awesome and interacted with everyone. Can’t wait to go back when I am in Dallas

They have a good selection of beer here. The food is good and I especially like the fried jalapeños. The fish and chips are also very good. The fried Bree is worth trying too, and it goes great with the jelly they serve it with. Our server was very friendly and we really enjoyed a Sunday afternoon here.

The Old English Beef and Onion Sandwich is great. I love how the British pub refuses to call it a French Dip. The food takes a long time to come out, but is well worth the wait. The patio is really nice!

Free atmosphere and it’s a bar that you can actually hear each other in. The beverages are quite good. The food is okay. Three of us tried different dishes and none of us would probably order them again But we figure we’ll come back here and have some beverages and relax some afternoon and just snack.

Nice bar providing a respite from the heat in the middle of the Addison circle commune. Nice beer offering, spacious and chill. A cool place to chill with friends. Nice waiters and waitresses tending to the business of their patrons. Food can be a bit salty sometimes.

Fun place to go have a good time for the evening. Really good prices on food and good traditional English dishes.
They have chess, darts, pool, and table games in a laid back environment. Highly recommend.

I used to frequent The Lion & Crown back in the day when attending plays at Water Tower and had fond memories of a typical Americanized Irish pub that did simple things well and at reasonable prices. However, my most recent visit was a different story. I ordered a Chimay Blue Belgian beer in a 11oz bottle from the menu (no price listed that I could see). I requested the traditional serving chalice-style glass and was looked at like I was crazy when even the dive-iest of dive bars have those glasses if they serve Belgian beer, especially Chimay. Not too big of a deal until I received my bill and I was shocked to find that they charged ultra-premium prices for a 11oz bottle, EIGHTEEN DOLLARS! A 4-pk of these bottles cost around $26 for regular off-the-shelf retail. Wholesale prices bars pay for beer is typically 70-80% off of that. Again, $18 for a single bottle is an unreasonable markup, especially when they cannot be bothered to serve it properly, and it’s not exactly like customers are paying for a luxurious environment/experience. I could nitpick the bland food, the loud music, or the surly staff, but that would be piling on to things that are not uncommon at these kinds of establishments. This is just a warning to make sure you know the prices of things you are ordering and not get fooled by the surroundings.
