The Lighthouse Restaurant was our Lunch stop after visiting the Great Lakes Lore Maritime Museum next door. The dining room is broken into two sections one has no windows and is on the darker side, the other has windows and is better lit with natural lighting.
The waitress said Pizza is their specialty and the cheese bread squares we got as an appetizer show that. They were amazing! I had the lighthouse burger. It was a half pound, char grilled patty for only $10.99 including chips and a pickle spear. Definitely a large portion. My wife had the croissant club. Also very large and reasonably priced. The food was cooked perfectly and brought out as ordered.
The prices on all of the menu items were surprisingly low priced, especially for what we received. The food was also very good.
Service was good, not fast, considering and employee left while we were there, which slowed things down a bit, but even with that, it really wasn’t an issue. Our server was very nice and friendly.
A few negatives. They were using pine sol to clean the tables and the smell was a little overwhelming. The men’s restroom was also a little dated and rough, smelling like urine. Overall though it was a positive experience and we would eat there again.

We had never visited and did a carryout order. The cheesy bread appetizer was amazing! The personal size pizza was also delicious. Haven’t tried the massive Philly sandwich and fries yet, but very generous portion sizes! Great food for the price!

Something just didn’t feel right about this place. It didn’t feel clean and service was awesome little on the slow side. I ate the buffet and had the roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy with corn. It was okay just not that favorable and tasted bland. This is a beautiful place to visit but I don’t recommend this place for a clean atmosphere. There were bugs everywhere around the lemons. The buffet is on the right side of this. Here’s the pictures. The beer was also just below room temperature. NOT COLD AT ALL!

Pizza is good, but the pulled pork is amazing. The cheese squares are fantastic as well. It’s not very expensive, either. We are sure to be back.
Edit: we went back for dinner the next night. Service was wonderful, and the food was amazing. Never had battered cauliflower before, but I’m glad I tried it.
The pot roast was tender and tasted amazing, the battered shrimp is excellent, and the chicken tenders are good too.
Next time we are in the area, we are going again for sure.

When I tell you that it had been a long time since I’ve enjoyed my food, I’m not kidding. This place blew me away with the prices and food. I heard about it on the radio station. Heard they had award winning pizza. They also have a mini buffet. I can only speak about what I had, of course. But you at least you have a starting point on what to order. Also, it’s jointed with an bowling alley. Didn’t play though. Hope y’all have the same experience.

This place is huge! With a nice size Bar.Arnold Palmer was perfect not to sweet. Makela took great care of the 3 of us. I had Fish and chips cooked to perfection and went with the waffle fries side salad Blu chz dressing. Pot roast and Bar-b-que pulled chicken sandwich entree were delicious.

Bryan shared the history and we would have hated to have visited a true historical landmark of Rogers City.

My daughter, granddaughter and I decided to take a ride and explore Roger’s City for the first day of spring 2021.
To our delight we happened into this beautiful restaurant!
I would absolutely recommend!
Our experience was excellent! The place is beautiful, clean, affordable, the food is fantastic, the portions are great and the service was outstanding!
If you are concerned about social distancing they absolutely have enough space. The staff was masked and I observed not just tables but chairs and booths being thoroughly cleaned and wiped.
It is located right next door to a museum and right down the road from the park!
I also recommend checking out their dessert case!

Nice little restaurant attached to a bowling alley. Clean with good portions and tasty choices. Should have tried the pizza, they moved a lot of them while I was there.
