Lovely waitress, pretty bad food. Please remove the clam chowder from the menu if your cooks have never heard of it. What I got was heated very liquid heavy cream with large slices of carrots, a hint of potatoes, and almost no clam. The ultimate heresy came in the form of basil and cilantro leaves added on top of this concoction… new owners of this place: just remove it from the menu.

Im not sure whats going on with the photos and reviews of this place because they do not accurately reflect the interior of the restaurant or quality of food here. I very rarely go out of my way to write a poor review but I felt scammed coming here.
If you want to eat decent food thats priced fairly do not come here.
I came for lunch during the week and was charged 19.80 for a Reuben sandwich which was priced at 15.00 on the menu. To make matters worse, they were stingy on the amount of food. The sandwich bread was barely toasted and they gave me maybe four thin slices of meat. The sandwich was unnecessarily oily and the fries even more so. I felt like they gave me what was left of the fries at the bottom of the basket bc there were very few fries and they were burnt. The photo I provided is the meal exactly as I received it, but I flipped open the sandwich to show the four slices of meat. The sandwich was mid at best and was too salty.
I understand it’s a tough economy and everything but 20$ for a meal like that was honestly disrespectful. I will be advertising to everyone about how terrible of an experience I had here. Please do better.

Waitstaff was very kind and attentive, 5 stars to them. Food did take over 30 minutes to come out after ordering, but waitress apologized and explained they’re in a period of transition. The portions were surprisingly small especially for the prices. The hollandaise sauce was very liquidy. I did like the shape of the hashbrown. Very long. Hashbrown the long way.

It’s really disappointing writing this review because this place overall has great food. But this is now the second time i have come here during open hours (at least according to google) where they have been closed. Finding parking here is bad enough but to then be turned away twice at the door now is the final straw now. Update your hours and actually be open when you say you are.

You need to do better with toasts. Cant charge 15-17$ a plate and then have those cheap walmart toasts was really low quality of food. And arrange better the amount of the eggs i felt like got screwed over. Oh and for the upcoming customers you might wanna bring cash with you unless you wanna pay extra on card.

I stumbled upon this little breakfast spot by chance, planning to grab a sandwich and coffee to go. But the moment I stepped inside, I could tell it was a well-kept, welcoming mom-and-pop shop. The owner’s friendly greeting made me feel right at home, so I decided to sit down instead.
I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine, and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the presentation to the flavors, everything was spot-on. The English muffin was perfectly toasted, the hash browns were crisp and beautifully formed, the egg yolks were just the right amount of runny, and the hollandaise was warm and velvety.
The food was truly outstanding, and the service matched it. I highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a delicious, unpretentious breakfast experience.

Excellent customer service and delicious food! From the moment we walked in, we were given great customer service. The woman who greeted and seated us was friendly, the woman who served us was knowledgeable and gave us a tour of the menu and the chef actually came out of the kitchen to check in and see how the food and our experience was.
The Salmon Benedict was well done and came with 3 eggs which was a pleasant surprise. The homemade hash brown was unique and tasty. We also ordered the cherry banana french toast special which was a great blend of sweet fruit that complimented the thick french toast — no syrup was needed with that dish.

The best little hole in the wall in Medford Square. Love their food and the feel of, a breakfast place reminiscent of no fangled place from my childhood. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

ordered the benny hash and had it delivered. asked that it was served with scrambled eggs instead of poached. the eggs came poached, no hollandaise anywhere, and the whole thing looked like it had been thrown from the third story of my building before getting to my front door. used to go here all the time, now won’t be back.

I think this was the worst breakfast place that i’ve ever been. Paying 16 dollars for terrible bad quality and portion breakfast plate and not even being full is terrible feeling charging 1$ for mayo feels scammed.Servers were nice.I wouldn’t come here again.
