I just have to give a huge shoutout to The Licking South Perrine for being so thoughtful and generous during the government shutdown. They offered free, delicious meals to all federal employees who were affected, and it honestly meant so much. The food was amazing — flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with love — and the service was just as great.
You could really feel that they were doing this out of the kindness of their hearts, not for attention, but because they genuinely care about the community. That kind of generosity is rare these days.
If you haven’t been yet, you’ve got to check them out! The food alone is worth it, but knowing you’re supporting such good people makes it even better. ❤️

I normally don’t place reviews, but I was disappointed. Bye the amount of money I spent for local quality and small portions. I ordered the seafood rice and they gave me what I would call a side of rice with 5 to 6 overcooked crab claws with barely any meat in them and two very overcooked shrimps Were disappointing me the most was the quantity. $10 anywhere else I could get much more food I hope that you take this into consideration and either offer more food for the amount of money and or a higher quality crab that has meat in it

This happened twice. I would order my food and I will never get what I’ve ordered because they won’t say what they ran out of. They would charge me to extra fee for seafood rice and give me Mac and cheese, for example. They did not try to accommodate me or give me my refund back for the difference. This happened TWO times two many. Very dishonest

Amazing food I had the snapper dinner with fries and Mac and cheese everything tasted fresh. The fish was fresh and did not have the frozen fish taste at all.
Recommend the finger licking sauce and the hot honey! Perfect place for an any time meal.

Found this place on GH and they food was amazing. Best fish tacos I had. And they have the option to have the entrees grilled or fried. Have been to the physical location a few times and everyone is always nice and the food is always good.

My children and I decide to try The Licking in South Perrine and I have to say it held up all expectations. The ambiance walking in was friendly and has a real vibe with a warm welcoming. The staff was really upbeat and friendly and interacted very well with customer. The music was on point, the visuals with DJ Khalid was lit. My children ordered the shrimp Alfredo and I ordered the chicken wings meal with a side of mac and cheese, candied yams, collard greens, peas and rice, the red velvet and lemon cake. We can’t forget our mystery drink and everything was hitting. We enjoyed every finger licking piece of every meal, oh so delicious. We are delighted by the love and dedication of chef and staff to making it a great eating experience. The kids were very happy and definitely gave you five stars. We can’t wait to be back for some more yummy home style cooking.

The food was too greasy. My order was messed up. The fried rice has grease dripping from it. I threw it away. My first time was indeed my last time patronizing them. The only good thing about it was the lady who took my order. She was nice!

Small wings and water down greens and Mac and cheese for $25 is insane. Mystery drink served with a whole cup of ice. 3 sips and the drink is gone for $5. Manger says they don’t do refunds but there’s no sign in the business stating that. No refunds is not on the website. She didn’t express no refunds before taking my order. These restaurants are water down and need to be shut down for bad customer service
