There must have been a recent change in ownership. This location has gone downhill. I came here last week and didn’t even have a chance to order. No one came to the register for 15 minutes. I even called out to the chef in the back to see what was going on and he said she’s coming (never did). Just ridiculous, as I saw an employee was definitely there when I walked in. She disappeared to the back and I didn’t see her again. Someone came in about 10 minutes after me and continued to wait because they either had a pickup order for themselves or were doing food delivery. On top of that, every single thing is an up charge now! Mac, Greens, everything! I hope ownership can revamp and rebound because it’s needed.

There is a huge difference since new owners took over. Fried snapper was more breaded than fish. I’ve been going to this location for over 7 yrs and this was a thumbs down. I’ve never ever had this experience. The previous owners was much more together. I had to literally remove the fish from my plate because it was terrible.

Will not be going back first got there and the service started off really bad like she didn’t care then while we were waiting for food a table of six walked in and they ended up walking out because they didn’t get any attention or greet, which could’ve been a lot of money right there in my opinion Other than that I felt it was a little overpriced for what I got. DO NOT GO HERE ThIS Place deserves 0 stars!! My friend and I just ordered two dinners totaling $70 and the food was trash. My baked chicken was so hard that i had to pick the meat with my hands because it was too tough for a fork. The cornbread was dry and they charged an extra $3. This is not the same place it was before previous owners. We took our uneaten food back and they refused to give us a refund. Instead they insisted we order more greasy and tough chicken. Mind you my friends wings had a puddle of grease at the bottom. We left without our money because we refused to eat the food which was our only option. They did not refund us our money despite what the food look like

My first time here and I have to say that the food was beyond my expectations!! Extremely tasty and fresh food. The Yams and collard greens make for a great combination of mixing the slaty and sweet in one plate. My taste buds were happy this day haha. The chicken wings were perfect. My husband ordered the the fish tacos and the fried chicken egg roll, we share our meals to taste a little bit of everything and his picks were soo good . I highly recommend this place

I am visiting Florida from out of town. Overall I would go back because that was my first time trying fried Turkey and it did not disappoint. I could have lived without the fried conch because even though they were fried fresh they taste like frozen rubbery conch not fresh. Also the mystery lemonade is diabetic inducing sweet! I’d suggest drinking water with it but it’s good just a lot of sugar. It gets busy in there but overall the service was GOOD the food came out pretty quickly but the dining room was empty and the to go like long and about 3-4 workers to manager both areas. 1 thing I did not like was the plastic utensils I had to use for my food while dining in. I prefer heavy duty cutlery when I choose to dine in ! I hope they can add catfish to the menu that would be nice but I would be back for sure and spent about $44 I loved the Turkey leg Mac and cheese and rice equally.

We placed our order through DoorDash for pickup, we were not even able to pick it up when we got there, because there was a whole line of people waiting for pickup since there was only 1 lady taking orders/making the drinks and giving out the orders. Outrageous for such big business.
The Rasta drink was just a waste of money, loaded with syrup, not a lemonade as they claimed.

The Theme is very Hip-Pop & R&B inside the restaurant. It is cool! The place is pretty clean in the dining areas. The waiting time is not too bad. The service is below average. Some of them does not feel like they want to work. They have to understand that restaurant business is all about service and foods quality. Their foods were okay. We ate the Fried Shrimp Dinner with Mac & Cheese and Spring beans. The Fried Shrimp was not oily and pretty tasty. The Spring Beans were also pretty tasty. The Mac & Cheese was a little bit oily and the cheese was a little hard and dry.
Overall, the experience was not too bad, but they can do better. Especially their services.

Each item had a unique flair to it. I think this place has my new favorite lemon pepper wings! The sides were all great and I don’t think there was a single complaint from any of the 10+ people we ate with. Try the lobster bites!

My very first time here and I am THOROUGHLY pleased! Each of our orders were made to perfection. The ambiance and customer service was perfectly on point as well. Their famous mystery drink (which we renamed the Unicorn drink) was Heaven for me. I honestly cannot wait to go back so I can try something new on the menu and bring my children who I know would enjoy the food.
