My sister ordered two quiches for a family event yesterday and they were both burnt. The crusts were completely stuck to the dishes so everyone got piles of burnt crust fragments and broken quiche filling on their plates. It looked horrible and burnt crust is never delicious. It’s just not right to spend money on something and not receive a quality product. We could have done much better ourselves but assumed we would be getting better quality and wanted something special for our special occasion. 🙁

Drove by the Lemon Drop before it was open and it caught my eye! Anxiously awaited being able to stop by! First time I relaxed in the lounge area on the unique furniture and enjoyed a lovely lemon drop with a friend. The servers were super friendly and attentive. Second time I came in with a friend ready to try some food! We shared the Thai lettuce wraps with sweet chili shrimp and the kale artichoke fondue. We also branched out and tried some of the other cocktails on the menu. The Frida being one of my faves! The food and the drinks were top notch! The owners even visited the table and are so friendly. I want to shout it from the mountain tops, go try the lemon drop! You will not be disappointed

Toto, I don’t think we’re in Longview anymore! If you haven’t been to The Lemon Drop yet, it’s a-ma-zing! I have never been more pleased with service I’ve received at a restaurant. Everyone was so friendly, and all the staff were checking on us (pretty sure even the owner). The drinks were truly artisan–perfectly crafted and delicious. I had a peach drop and a “pink lady.” Both drinks were the perfect balance of flavor. The chicken bacon artichoke pasta was great! Juicy chicken, nice portion size, and savory sauce. This place is such a treat! Wonderful atmosphere and decorated in a fresh, fun way.

The Lemon Drop catered our wedding send off in September 2025. Not only was the food hot and delicious, Michelle is so wonderful to work with! She’s creative and a master of her craft. The food was exactly what we wanted, and we got so much positive feedback from our guests as well! If you don’t need an event catered, you at least gotta stop in for lunch!

So….. they had a full house tonight and they certainly deserve it!

Our meals were clearly a hit. Mr. Wonderful had the Italian beef sandwich (imagine a French dip on steroids), he thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the sweet Italian sausage and mushroom Pappardelle with acorn squash. It was so well seasoned that every ingredient made an impression.

The highlight of our dining experience this evening was the pumpkin mousse! This tiny confection was out of this world delicious = light, perfectly spiced mousse, sandwiched between a delicate meringue. We almost fought over it. (: Definitely a “should have ordered TWO” = that good of a dessert!

I appreciate the ambience here – Bing Crosby singing tunes and Bob Ross painting, while we’re surrounded by vibrant, happy hipsters. Touché!

Strong 4 1/2 *

Wow, this was a dining experience that we’re certain to repeat. Soon!

Ambiance: hipster, trendy, cool, energetic, eclectic, loud(ish) and fun! Those decriptives + us = lol. Our demographics = older generation yet, we felt welcome and comfy. I love the open kitchen concept, I felt like we were visiting friends in their really cool home.

We began our culinary feast with beverages, I had a Fairy Godmother – which was an absinthe forward magical creation, truly difficult to describe and seriously delicious. Mr. Wonderful enjoyed a Pilsner.

Appetizer: we had the onion and garlic fondue (they were out of their kale & artichoke fondue). It was potent and pungent, served with a delicious grilled squash, crackers and bite-size breads.

Mains: Mr. Wonderful ordered the pork belly BLT. He stated that the pork belly was crisp and that the sandwich made his top five. He ordered potato salad on the side but they were out. He’ll try again next visit.
I enjoyed the Thai lettuce wraps with soy curls. This dish was perfection on a plate! The contrast of the warm, peanutty soy curls, the delicately pickled cucumber and the other fresh crisp veggies made this dish scream, yum!

Happy Ending: Blueberry cheesecake to die for! Yes, yes and yes – not to be missed. And if you don’t have the room for it, take a slice to go.

Daniel was our host for the evening. He was personable and genuine – which only added to our enjoyment.

Finally got a chance to check this place out. And to say I am impressed is an understatement. I didn’t think it was possible to find such amazing food and cocktails in Longview.

Let’s do a Step by Step.
Cocktails to Open:
Lemon Drop (How can you not order a Lemon Drop at a place called The Lemon Drop) and Fairy Godmother (Absinthe forward with St. Germaine, Pineapple, and Citrus Juices). Possibly the best Lemon Drop I have ever had. Just the perfect balance of Sour Lemon and Sweetness. The Fairy Godmother is very Anisey on the nose and first taste from the Absinthe, but the juices and Elderflower lend to a lovely evolution and smoothness.

Appetizer:
Burrata Toast. SERIOUSLY, Burrata in Longview? And such an amazing presentation to boot. Only potential criticism is it could have used some sea salt for a pop. But delicious. It would have been the highlight of the meal if everything else weren’t so great.

Entrees:
Thai Lettuce Wraps with Chili Shrimp (Technically an appetizer)
Braised Short Rib Panini.
Wife absolutely loved her lettuce wraps and will probably be trying next time with an alternative protein.
I had the panini and I couldn’t have been happier. (Though I did get a bahn mi to go)

Dessert
Peach Tart with Peach Coulis and Vanilla ice cream
Blueberry Cheesecake
These are the highlight of the meal. Absolutely delicious. Tart shell had perfect texture and cheesecake was heaven.

Dessert Cocktail
Hemingway
A simple lime rum and sugar drink, but prepared masterfully.

I’ve been hearing the word around town about the new spot and I was delighted to come try it out! The drink recommendations I got were top top and so tasty!! I really enjoyed the salad that came with my chicken parm sandwich. I adore the atmosphere, the staff is incredible and so welcoming!

Longview needed a place like this! Will be back!

An outlier among the bar and grills that abound in the tri-city Longview area! Here you’ll find seasonal craft cocktails, farm to table food showcased in a stunning menu, and the friendliest most hospitable staff I’ve encountered at any restaurant in the area. When I walked in at opening the staff was jamming punk rock- a perfect match for my tastes! It’s a truly snazzy foodie cocktail bar in a small town- you can’t miss the Lemon Drop if you want a big city dining experience out here in SW Washington

Atmosphere and service were outstanding, open concept with cafe lights, cozy blankets, and creative decor. Unfortunately I wasn’t super impressed with the food or drinks for the price. I had the burnt ends salad and it was quite bland and needed salt while super heavy on garlic (the dressing was described as buttermilk ranch but didn’t taste at all like ranch), the lemon drop was small and too heavy on the limoncello, the pink lady was so sour I couldn’t drink it until I asked for more simple syrup. They don’t put prices on their drinks, I was expecting better mixology at $12-$15/ea. Overall the concept of the place is great, I hope they work out the kinks and stick around! Great potential and I’m definitely willing to give them another try.

Tried this place while shopping The Holiday Market at the Merk. The smash burger was good. Fries were awesome.
Will go back and try a pasta dish with their regular menu.
Burger was $13, added fries and water for $20 total.
