I looked at the menu online and had to try the place out while i was in town. I walked in and was immediately taken back by how loud the one man band was. The menu consists of a nice variety of options, so I asked my server for recommendations… I settled for the Southern chicken sandwich and I started with the French onion soup. The soup was good, but a little salt would have actually put it over the top good. The chicken sandwich was very good and the stone ground mustard potato salad complimented it well. I don’t normally comment on the tableware, but the glassware and silverware really matched with the decor. I’m either paying attention to my surroundings or I am just getting goofy with age. I recommend stopping by and I will be back to sample another one of the menu options!

This spot has a fantastic atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. The place has a great original menu with creative yet recognizable offerings! The food was great! I had the southern fried chicken sandwich with pub fries, the chicken was tender, juicy, and fried to perfection. My wife had the Ruben which was also fantastic! For an appetizer the cheese curds were fantastic, served with the house original sauce! In other visits I have had the breakfast and it was also fantastic! Great overall experience! Highly recommended!

We had an excellent brunch here on Saturday. The avacado naan, wet buritto and gluten free chicken and waffles. So delish! I also had a cup of hot chocolate. Probably the best I’ve ever had. That whip cream is yummy! Food came out fast and hot and it was a busy Saturday. The staff was on top of their game. We will for sure be back.

Best breakfast steak I’ve had in 2023. Anthony aka “Bacon” cooked this – Medium Rare, Over-Medium, Burn the Homefries… spot on.

Went here due to being in the area. We got here and got a seat and got the menu. The menu is a little different than the usual in that there are some not your every day ingredients. We really liked what we ordered.

We love to check out small towns and support locals. This place looked very charming. It was nice to try out some mimosas however you can tell that they are short staffed. We tried to be patient and consider that they where short. It looked like they did have a steady flow of people coming in. We where located near the kitchen so I can notice at times food piling up and the kitchen calling for pick up. Also noticed what would’ve been a taco salad for a while sitting at the counter but not the rest of the food. By this time it would be an hour that we had been at the restaurant. Waitress only had come twice. To take our drink and then order. We had to flag someone down to find out about our meal and it still wasn’t done. After requesting out ticket to pay for our drinks, another staff member then stated that our food was almost then done. At this point we just proceeded to check out and grab food at another nearby establishment that took care of us fairly quickly. Not sure if it was an off day but it was disappointing especially since we are not from this area and wanted to checkout the local town.

Staff seemed very surprised that it was busy at 11 am on a Saturday while 1) there’s a farmers market right outside and 2) that college just started. Atmosphere was weird. Don’t really understand the beachy decorations, considering that this is, for all intents and purposes, a land locked state. When we asked for a drink menu, we expected to get one with cocktails of course, but there wasn’t a menu for non-alcoholic beverages OR coffee. Our waitress didn’t offer us specials. Our hostess visited our table more than our waitress did. Once the food was delivered, we weren’t visited, so if we had a problem (the potatoes were bland), too bad so sad. Of course we understand that our waitress was very busy, but there were bussers and other servers just standing around twiddling their thumbs. Food was decent (not hard to mess up an omelette). We got the Loaded Potato Omelette; the eggs were cold, the cheese didn’t melt fully, there was almost no bacon. Very greasy, backed up by the fact that my partner and I still smell like the restaurant almost 4 hours later. Can see why people would fall for this cutesy place, but the reviews comparing it to a Michelin Star are very misplaced. $17 for 1 omelette and 1 soda, and the soda was very flat.
