If you are on 95, this is an easy on and off. Meats are all smoked in the back. Like other reviews, the mac and cheese is peppery. The collards, baked beans and potato salad are good.
Portion size is pretty good. I would give it a try.

So glad we listened to the person who told us to get the dinners. We tried the rib tips, 1/2 chicken, and wings. That also meant we tried 5 different sides too. The smoked meat is delicious with a solid smoke flavor. The house BBQ sauce was ok, just not my style. We had so much food-we all took food home. The building is not much to look out from the outside, but inside you will find deliciousness.

This used to be our weekend spot! idk if they’re under new ownership or new cooks or what’s going on. We’d get a family meal and a couple orders of rib tips. The last time we had it was Nov. 2018, and we ordered on one of those delivery apps. The food was BURNED BLACK, hard and dry like jerky! INEDIBLE. We called to complain and they brought over new food about an hr or so later. This time it wasn’t burned but had no flavor. The delicious well seasoned food we usually get was not there. We were SORELY disappointed because this was one of our favorite spots. The person I spoke with said they would take our burned food to show staff not to leave it in the warmer so long but when he got there he said we could keep it. I took pictures of it that night to show them if they needed proof.

I’m always looking for new BBQ joints. Came across Lazy Pig while in the area. Ordered pulled pork sandwich, baked beans and Cole slaw. Pork was nice and moist but not much smoke flavor. The slaw was tasty and had a good crunch. Baked beans seemed like canned beans that were doctored up with some onions and peppers. Similar to what I do at home when short on time to make my own. Not much flavor. Overall, average visit

Friendly service and filling tasty ribs.
An isolated restaurant right at the entrance to the Quantico marine training facility just off the I95 in Triangle.
Large portions of tasty ribs and other pork based dishes served in no nonsense polystyrene containers.
Food came quickly and it was a pleasant dining experience even if there was too much meat to eat!

After coming here for well over a year I have to say conditions have turned to the worse. The unfriendly cashier seems to lack training. The tea had turned bad and she responded with I don’t know how to do a refund. The mac and cheese was clumpy and did not taste fresh. Sad because I used to really like this place. Not sure I will be back. Ordered a chicken sandwich as well but did not even eat after taking a bite.

Formerly located near 234 & Route 1, The Lazy Pig BBQ’s new location adds comfortable indoor and outdoor seating with the same delicious meals. I recently visited, sampling their family rib meal, that included a full slab of ribs, 4 sides (I chose: Baked Beans, Corn in the Cobb, Potatoe Salad, and Mac & Cheese). I also ordered a half chicken and their Peach Cobbler. Their prices are higher than expected but I can taste where the extra $$$ goes…in the food. Each bite was more tasting than the last.
The staff were friendly, offering additional servings of the sauce, which I found myself licking of my fingers as I ate. The Lazy Pig BBQ offers a welcoming family touch not found in current BBQ restaurants nearby. I look forward to my next meal here.

Great atmosphere and nicer smoky smell in the air. Quaint, honey, nostalgic, comfortable, friend staff…but the sandwich was far too small and my chicken was dry and without flavor. BBQ sauce is thin so outs good for saturating the bread but does not stick to the meat. Brisket was just ok…

Lazy Pig does offer very good BBQ. It is cooked superbly the smokey flavor and tenderness of the meats spot on. Baked Beans very Good. Corn was hard and tuff and Collard Greens not cooked long enough chewy. Lastly portion sizes are small. Spent $73.00 in total and just feel like what you see here could be more. Thank Goodness the quality of the Brisket, Chicken Wings, Pulled Pork and Ribs was so dead on.
