We visited the Lizard a few times on our trip. The food and drinks were amazing. The fries were amazing, gator tail was perfectly done with a light breading, and my seafood pasta was fresh and well flavored. Baked potatoes are huge. Our first trip we had a very attentive server and it wasn’t very busy, our second trip came right at dinner time and the service was a little slower and it was busy but they still had our reserved table for 10 ready for us. Overall it is a cool place with live music, great food, and some interesting mixed drinks.

Went early in the day. Not terribly busy. Typical bar atmosphere. Just excessively loud for me. Food isn’t what it used to be. Shrimp is fresh. Everything else is just burgers and fries. Skip the rice and beans. Bring out of towners for the seating by the water. Birds, turtles, gators sun themselves on the floating platform.

This place was great! The place was spotlessly clean, even at the outside seating. The tables were really nice and comfortable and the river location was really really cool! The giant iguana statue looming over the inside of the restaurant was super cool! The food here was excellent! We got gator tail, and they really knew what they were doing to make the gator taste as good as possible! The fries were pretty good too. The French onion soup was to die for! My friends burger, he said it was absolutely perfect. The server did a great job! I was super comfortable here at this restaurant. Thank you so much! Definitely the kind of place to go again!

I have to start the review by giving a TON of credit to the ladies that work behind the bar, I have never seen employees working so hard to make sure everyone was getting served and keeping track of orders – standing ovation. From the outside, the decor is well done and I love how you can find out about all the bands they have playing along with the trivia and karaoke they host. The live band was great! We did notice the signs about don’t feed the alligators and from our seats it was beautiful to see all the nature and creatures around the area. Our drinks were made really well and I have the highly recommend the frozen drinks they do, especially on hot days. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and tasted great. I would go back especially seeing all the activities they host. I recommend definitely checking out this spot.

We absolutely adore this place, fantastic food.The atmosphere is always jumping live music.The staff is incredible, attentive and the food is always delicious.The beers are always cold.The drinks are always good.There’s absolutely nothing.I could say or rave enough about this place. The aloha burger is absolute heaven.I always get their steak dinner and you get a huge steak, everything. There is so delicious. The food is so good it’s perfection. I know some will pass by because it’s a bar atmosphere but it will be your loss. The big shrimp is by far the best and I have eaten shrimp from every costal area. They know how to cook it perfectly. Grouper basket delicious. If seafood is not your thing Cuban sandwich is oh my, so good. Burgers are the best.

So let’s start with the atmosphere it is all you want and need from a dive bar in floridia on the coast the food above average the service is top notch our server was on all our needs with helpful suggestions that paned out. We had drinks and a beautiful peanut butter pie see Pic was above average and that not just the beer talking. So if you want to enjoy great music a nice view and great food come on over they will not disappoint.

This was our first time at lazy lizard and I swear it did not disappoint whatsoever! The margaritas were strong and flavorful and my hubs drinks were amazing as well! Our toddler even spilled one of his drinks that he didn’t even take a sip of yet and they replaced it with no charge! Crab cakes are huge, flavorful and filling, that sauce they put on top is subpar, my toddler even loved them! Now for the coconut crusted haddock? I LOVE coconut shrimp but that haddock was a whole new level of the meal. That was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. The coconut crust with (I believe) homemade sweet chili sauce is to worth the visit alone. I can’t recommend this place enough. The staff are so sweet and friendly. Definitely a must go if your in the area

Great laid back place serving a variety of menu items. Our group of 5 ordered wings, grouper sandwich, Greek salad, and more and everything was tasty. Service was excellent. The star of the show was this alligator that swam up yo say hi!
