Everything we ordered at The Lazy Beagle in Sweetwater, Tennessee was absolutely amazing. We started with the Spicy Honey Cheese Bites, which were a perfect mix of sweet heat, creamy cheese, and crunch, especially with the marinara sauce. The Spinach Artichoke Dip was rich and full of flavor, served with crispy fried corn tortillas that paired perfectly.

For entrées, I had the steak Philly and it did not disappoint. The meat was tender and flavorful, topped with sautéed peppers, onions, mushrooms, and provolone cheese on a hoagie and very satisfying.

The standout dish was the Wildcat Pasta. This was easily the best thing we had. The combination of andouille sausage, shrimp, and Cajun chicken tossed in a spicy cream sauce over pasta was incredible. So much flavor and perfectly balanced. The Shrimp and Grits were also excellent, with Gulf shrimp, bacon, and tomatoes in a buttery Cajun sauce over creamy cheddar grits.

To top it all off, the staff was very helpful and friendly, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Highly recommend, especially the Wildcat Pasta. Will definitely be back.

Food was delicious! We were seated as soon as we came in despite the place being very busy. The atmosphere was great. The restaurant erupted with laughter and fellowship. All workers were very friendly and somewhat attentive. Prices were decent and reasonable. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality and will definitely return again soon.

Everything was delicious! I got the salmon & my husband got the catfish. The glazed carrots were soooo good!!! 100000/10. We live a couple hours away but cannot wait to come back. The banana pudding was incredible! One of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to. Could not recommend this place more.

A unique restaurant with open outside seating on the roof. Would recommend high top seating for the roof so you can enjoy the view instead of a wall. We had no wait. The service was great, we didn’t need to even ask for refills. The atmosphere was relaxing in an eclectic, industrial, old world feel with the darker wood and open ceilings. The food was delicious. Salad was all fresh, the flat bread french dip was tender and the Philly were full of flavor. My first time but I will definitely be back. If your near Sweetwater TN stop by and try this restaurant while out Antique shopping.

I have nothing but good things to say about this awesome place. I have never regretted anything I’ve ordered. Top quality dishes at franchise chain prices. From the boom boom shrimp appetizer to the filet, it’s always good. Don’t sleep on the catfish either.

Staying in the small town of Sweetwater, TN we were looking for a nice restaurant, with good food that wouldn’t break the bank. We found it! The Lazy Beagle. From the decor, to the greeting, service, menu selection and food quality, they had it all. We had a blast eating here. After we finished our meal, I walked back to the bar and was admiring the area when the owner immediately spotted me looking and asked if there was anything she could help me with. I explained I was just admiring but hoped we could get a Lazy Beagle t-shirt. She very kindly explained they were ordered and please call next week,,,,and we will!!

Old pub atmosphere… food was great; this was my second visit within a few weeks. First time was for fish tacos w/mango sauce, which were really good. Second time was for their brisket sandwich on sourdough which was great. Brisket serving was generous & not overly fatty. Our daughter had a problem with the sugar sprinkled on her sweet potato fries & they quickly brought her more without the sugar. Thick- cut, juicy on the inside & crispy on the outside … so-good!

My wife & i finally made it down here, & very glad we did. Seated right away, & had couple waters delivered promptly. I ordered the salmon BLT, my wife had the brisket grilled cheese. Both delicious, & good size! Our server was friendly & efficient. We’ll be back!

The roof top was awesome. Our server forgot some of our food. Fries looked good but we’re cold so she said she’d put in another order, she never did. And a young man who was cleaning tables wiped down the seats before using the same towl to wipe down the table. Had I seen that before ordering I may not have ordered food. The drive to Bald River Falls was nice. I do recommend seeing that.
