We have been coming to Mercer for years snowmobiling and always stop at the Lazy Ace. We just came back from our annual trip and stopped in the Lazy Ace on the 29th and 30th of Jan this past weekend. Food was great but whoever the bartender was both nights had the most worst customer service we have ever had there. We come in on the 29th, not crowded and sit at the bar. We wait 10 minutes for a drink while she was talking with people across the bar. Ok, no problem. Then we come in on Friday the 30th around 6 p.m. Sit at the bar, get drinks and order food. 2 of our party get sandwiches which didn’t take long but my 1 buddy gets the wrong sandwich, He ordered barbeque brisket sandwich, potato salad and cole slaw. He gets a corned beef sandwich, potato salad and cole slaw. When he questions it she says “But you ordered potato salad and coleslaw” He says “I know but the sandwich is wrong” She does nothing to correct the problem but walks away and does nothing to fix the problem. It wasn’t busy so not sure what the problem was but I am sure we can now spend our money somewhere else. And the pizza took over 50 minutes to show up even though it was not busy.
