Stopped by with friends to enjoy a meal and we were not disappointed! Unfortunately, it was a busy evening and the service was delayed initially, but once the waitress arrived, she was lovely! The food took almost an hour but once it arrived it was hot and delicious! We look forward to visiting again in the future.

This was a quick “get it before they closed” kind of deal. We had takeout which isn’t always the best way to try a new place. The restaurant is beautiful with dark wood tables and the name accenting the wood. Famous people have a place along the wall as a gorgeous motif. Very old school which I love.
However, they were said to have great burgers and they do! Unfortunately, the Man got extra sauce with the General Tso’s Chicken that got punctured by the containers stacked on top of it. He didn’t have enough sauce for his meal and was not pleased which means I wasn’t pleased. My burger lived up to the hype but was soured due to unfortunate packing.

Was in Goldsboro for the weekend and needed a place for dinner. We decided to come here for the expansive menu. There was no wait and despite the restraint looking full we were sat immediately. The waitress was friendly and tolerated our friend who can be a lot. Food was very good and drinks were a reasonable price coming from CLT. Handled my gluten allergy flawlessly! Would recommend to those in the area.

We held our 50th High School Reunion in their Banquet Room Saturday 9/27/25. Our service was great! Jose 1 and Jeff took excellent care in ordering our food and getting the orders out to us quickly! Also the food was good too! We had over 40 people attend! The Banquet room was easy to decorate! Our class had a wonderful reunion and a great experience at Laughing Owl!

Hands down the best Asian food I’ve ever had in North Carolina: authentic, fresh and delicious! Stopped in for a quick lunch on a whim and will definitely be back. The food is so flavorful! The location is convenient and has a great vibe inside and out. The staff are courteous and polite and the restaurant is very clean and inviting. Entrance, tables and restrooms definitely ADA friendly. If you’re looking for classic and authentic asian entrees this is as good as it gets! If they offered Dim Sum I’d die and go to heaven.

Awesome date night with Jeff as our server! We have been many times but he called us by name and even taught me how to use chopsticks. I always avoid those Chad got the Cajun chicken pasta and I got the level 3 chicken Pad Thai. I’ll get level 2 next time. It was so good. We accidentally left our credit card and he came after us running to get it back to us. Great experience! When you go, ask for Jeff!

If you ever go here ask to be seated in Jeff’s section. He is amazing and food is awsome too. I highly recommend steak and shrimp hibachi. These days it seems either food or service has been slipping in quality but Jeff is by far one of the best waiters we have had in a very long time. Even the management is helpful and seem to really care about your experience.

I celebrated my birthday and engagement with friends. It was a surprise to me and my friends had brought cakes to be served. Our server was Jeff and he remembered everyone’s name at the table and called each of us by name every time he stopped by to check on us, which was often. All the staff wa s very accommodating and helped with the cake and champagne The food was great and came out quickly. We had a great time and Jeff along with the rest of the staff helped make that possible.

Looking somewhere for dinner and live music?? This place has a great atmosphere that really gets you into a good mood to start your weekend! The food was phenomenal, the cocktails were on point (blended perfectly), and the guy singing was wonderful. The place was packed when we got there around 8pm but we didn’t wait 15-20 minutes before they sent a text to let us know our table was ready. This was actually perfect, it allowed us time to walk down the street to take in all of the others businesses that were open and see what they had to offer as well.

The foods great if you want a nice sit down experiance in downtown goldsboro, what really won me over was their Lava cake. Our server Jeff was incredibly freindly and knowledgeable if your visiting a service member at Seymour johnson this is a must vist dineing experiance.
The side dineing area is however, lacking in decore and ambiance music. If your able to, make sure to sit in the main dineing area for the best experiance!
