Housed in a former Victorian shoe factory, with 4 distinct eating areas for drinks, lunch and dinner – the iconic upstairs heritage bar, the trendy downstairs cellar dining room, the relaxed modern brasserie (Taylors @ The Last) & the outdoor courtyard (drinks/lunches). The food is modern, inventive & locally sourced. We serve a Menu du Jour as well as an A la Carte combined with a great wine list. We also serve interesting Beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. My husband and I had a small wedding ceremony in 2024, and we wanted a simple yet beautiful celebration afterwards. We chose The Last based on the menu and the reviews, and we are so happy we did! Sebastian and his team made our special day even more memorable. Everything was impeccable—the attention to detail, the delicious food, the incredibly attentive staff, and the wonderful atmosphere. We were so pleased with our experience that we returned with our family to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, this time for a Sunday roast. Amazing restaurant!

Dined at The Last Wine Bar on 24/1/2026 during a busy Saturday dinner service. We hadn’t thought to reserve a table, assuming January would be quiet oh, how wrong we were! Thankfully, the manager was able to squeeze us in.
We started in the bar while waiting for our table and tried the Rhubarb cocktail of the month, which was absolutely delicious. For dinner, I enjoyed the fillet of beef from the à la carte menu, easily one of the best I’ve ever had! We also took advantage of the 25% off, which was a lovely bonus.
The food was beautifully presented, just delicious , and the desserts were as pretty as they were tasty. Service was excellent throughout, and we will definitely be back, this time, I will be sure to reserve a table! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We had an intimate wedding reception here just a couple of weeks ago (early June), and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Sebastian was the perfect host, taking care of everything, even though he was probably up against it, as all the planning was very loose on our side! Pretty much all the arrangements were done by email or video, with a couple of quick drop ins.
The canapés were delightful and the food was fabulous. I forgot to take pictures after the canapés because it was all so delicious we all got stuck in!! The service was excellent, we had everything that was wanted to make this the most perfect wedding. Thanks so much Sebastian and also for all the wonderful waiting staff and the fabulous chefs! ❤️

The last is a beautiful restaurant, I highly recommend whoever is visiting Norwich, the food is amazing, the way they present the food, the quality and of course makes the perfect vibes when having either a catch up or a special occasion.
The service is 5 star, from the waitress and of course the manager who I personally know, and watching him do his thing shows he has great passion for this restaurant.
The question is am I coming back 100%.

Currently the best restaurant in Norwich. Excellent lunch today with fantastic menu, cooking and sophisticated, knowledgeable, friendly service. They are just doing every right. Cannot wait to go back. Under new owners and all new service since our last visit – greatly improved. Food was second to none -just fabulous! Wine great too and thoughtfully matched to our dishes. Under new ownership, The Last Wine Bar has truly raised the bar. The atmosphere is elegant yet inviting, and the food is nothing short of excellent, beautifully presented, flavourful, and made with high-quality ingredients.

We were blessed to be given a gift voucher for The Last so decided to use it for their Sunday roast as it came highly recommended.
We received a warm welcome from Sebastian and we were also well looked after throughout by the delightful Rebecca.
We received an appetiser which was a nice surprise followed by chicken liver parfait and a cauliflower veloute for starters all were delicious and good portion size.
I went for the beef whilst my wife went for the chicken.
There was a supplement for the beef and for a side of cauliflower cheese but both were very well worth the extra.
We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the portion. We thought with fine dining we would be left wanting but not a chance it was perfection. Both meats were so succulent, the roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables were also delicious too.
I had a dessert as we had a voucher which was also very good but really didn’t need it although nice to finish with it.
We had a coffee and Petit fours too which was a nice touch.
We’re so pleased we came. Was much nicer than we expected and can’t wait to return. Lucky having an eatery like this on our doorstep. We hope to return soon .
