Ordered a takeaway the other day and my wife was violently sick after eating hers. Although mine was okay we have noticed the quality of the food has been going down hill for a while. The considerable price increase is not reflected in the standard of the food and we won’t be using this place again.

Used to visit when LDotR was based in Low Fell and the food is still just as good. Service was a little too slow, especially given the low number of people that were in at the time. Will still be making return visits.

Stopped here for dinner as staying locally over night for work. Service was a little slow and it wasn’t too busy, staff were really friendly though. Food was great and full of flavour. The only thing I question is we had the set meal for £14.95. But apart from the starter everything else was extra. So really it’s a set meal for around £20. Not a huge issue, but kinda false advertising.

This review is from our most recent dine in. We ordered onion bhaji, keema naan, chapati, tikka masala with rice. Papadoms which the kids loved (staff was also generous to give moree). Generous serving, good food.

Food quality consistently keeps changing during the week, if you order between Monday and Thursday as it might be quiet, you will get a poor quality food made by a chef who keeps in and out the restaurant to near by shop for cigarettes. If you want good quality food make sure the boss is at the site.

Lamb Shashlik probably the best I’ve had (and I’ve had a few).
Thoroughly enjoyed the food collected from their very comfortable bar area at the appointed time and staff were very polite and pleasant.
