Our menu not only introduce this cuisine to the locals, but also give the area’s South American population a taste of home. We make sure to use fresh, authentic ingredients, sometimes with a bit of artistic license, and create dishes not from just one country but from many (Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador). We want to evoke memories of past celebrations and create new memories to last a lifetime

I’m a regular, the breakfast is bomb (Plata Paisa, B’s and G’s, French Toast) all super good and portions are large. The two owners are super friendly and the coffee is some of the best in the city due to it being “Air Roasted” = less bitter.

The vibes are great as well, with a lil hangout corner, multiple tables, and outdoor seating in the warm months.

9.5/10 if the scale went up that high.

The food and coffee were fantastic! My mom, sister, and I arrived 3pm so ordered from the lunch menu. I’d highly recommend the empanadas and shrimp ceviche! The coffee was wonderful too. I ordered a peppermint latte! The owner, Cesar, was very friendly. We’ll definitely be returning soon, I’d like to try the dinner menu. He said it’s BYOB.

2nd experience here and just as good as the first.

This business puts pride and quality into every aspect (food, staff, marketing, and decor).

In addition to supporting local art and music

The South African spices put this restaurant ahead of a few others in boystown.

Thank you

I walked in, and, was immediately greeted with a kind smile despite being disheveled and messy.

Delicious sumatra, air roasted coffee that warmed me up and crab cake Benedict with Yuka potatoes – owner recommendation.

I cannot wait to come back for additional eats and treats.

Kudos to the chef and everyone at Lazanga.

I was even given a chair to sit outside for a mid meal smoke break.

Thank you

Came here for dinner a few weeks ago and the food was amazing so of course I had to return for breakfast, once again it was a hit with the food and A+ customer service.
The place alone is such a cute cozy spot for either a date night, family dinner or just a day out for brunch with the girls. Definitely recommend
Plus perks BYOB.

This is easily the best south American restaurant I have been to in the area! The pequeño were amazing and the breakfast was perfectly cooked and done just right. The meat was tender and it wasn’t over seasoned. On top of that, it is the best coffee I have had in the area!

Had a very nice experience with excellent service. The entrees came out fast, were very tasty, and were a good value. The coffees were great too! Recommended to my friends.

Went to The Lanzaga for dinner last night, and unfortunately, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The restaurant was quiet, with only two other tables occupied, so we got attentive service from a nice waiter.

We both ordered the skirt steak, which was very tender but lacked seasoning—definitely could have used more flavor. They were out of yams, which was disappointing since I’d been looking forward to trying them. Instead, we had the fried yuca and sweet plantains, which were tasty, and the ranch dipping sauce for the yuca was a nice touch.

The biggest downside was the price. The bill came to near $100 for two people, which seemed high, especially considering the lack of seasoning on the main course. The coffee, however, was excellent; maybe they shine more as a breakfast spot. I might come back for breakfast someday if they’re still around, but with several similar places offering better prices, I probably wouldn’t return for dinner.

Positives: Food is amazing, we got the Maracucho and the Arepa with the Yuca fries. That was fantastic, no faults, fries were seasoned well and the Marachucho especially was great, large portions too!

Negatives: The drinks are hit or miss, I have got to go Lattes and Hot Chocolates. The Hot Chocolate is frankly bad, the Latte when we had it for dine-in was good, but to go was mediocre.

Recommend the food! Don’t recommend the hot chocolate (maybe we just had a bad one?)
