I was pretty surprised with this place I must say .. a pretty young local crowd and a good sized one to have a few drinks with and close a week out. Staff was friendly and fast .I haven’t gotten the chance to check out the food here but I’ve heard it’s great as well.. if you want a good time and a good crowd then you should come check this place out. I hope to be able to critique the food next.

Great bar in the heart of downtown with pool, darts, and pinball. Great alcohol selection with rotating beer taps. Nice, private outdoor space to have a drink and smoke, if you choose to. My only complaint is that it’s getting a little more dirty the longer it’s there. Not really keeping up on cleaning and maintenance quite as well as they have in the past. Still not terrible, but something noteworthy coming from someone who frequents the bar. Overall, a great spot to have a drink.

So, went to the Lantern after locals said not to go there! Big mistake by locals. Loved this place! Chris and the owner were so respectful and earned my business! Highly recommend this establishment! Had a great time!

It needs a lighted sign out front to see at night. However, the bartenders are quick and very attentive. Mr. Harrison the owner was just a great personality and is a great part of the atmosphere. I would love to see them add a food menu.

Last time I was here had a horrible experience….this time we had a wonderful time. It had a very laid back and chill environment that was quite enjoyable with the right amount of people to not feel overcrowded. Fun evening out with great people all around. The staff is amazing.
