Loved this old fashioned bar, that’s been around for ages. When you step inside you feel like you’re in another era. The space is big and includes a back room. I love the wood paneling. The Cocktails are good and the prices are reasonable. I’ll have to go back and try the food. The service is good.

I had a salad and the Shepard pie. Very good pie. Also tasted some of a friends fries with the garlic mayo and they were some of the best French fries I ever had. Good service from the server. Would recommend while in NYC.

Got two burgers, not juicey at all. Small amounts and it’s just very dry. Even the medium rare. For $20 a burger just go to wendys. The beer is $10. Server is nice.

We visited The Landmark Tavern on 11th Avenue. The steak was flavorful and well prepared, and the beer – especially the dark Guinness – was excellent. The burger, on the other hand, was nothing remarkable. The fried chicken fingers were decent, but very simple, and the fries came overcooked. What really disappointed me was the side dish: the menu listed “steamed vegetables,” which normally suggests peppers, tomatoes, corn, or maybe eggplant. Instead, I was served a full plate of broccoli. Since I cannot tolerate broccoli, this should have been clarified on the menu. A more accurate name would be Steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli.

Opened in 1868, it is one of the oldest continuously operating bars in NYC.
Back in the day, it was literally waterfront property – there was no 12th Avenue until the 1880’s when it was created with landfill.
We had the corner beef & cabbage and braised lamb shank – both were delicious.

We greatly enjoyed our lunch here. My swordfish dish was excellent, and everyone else enjoyed their selections as well. The place had a fun vibe, and our server was awesomely friendly and helpful.

This was such a fun find! We had about 2 hours to kill before getting on our tour boat and wandered around the streets looking for something nice. It was 12pm and walked in and it was naturally quiet but we were starving!
Ordered 2 pints and food. The manager then came over to have a chat with us which was super cool. Told us the history of the place and then ended up showing us that they were featured in Ed Sheerans documentary. Food was really tasty. Went for the fry and the Quesadillas. Would reccomend!

Abe was our server. He was extremely attentive, professional and gave great communication!! It was across the street from our hotel.So conveniently located.. my husband absolutely loved the vintage look of it. Our food was okay… but our service and communication from abe was extraordinary!!! He was so personable… we went back in for a drink after our day touring new york city and to our surprise, abe was the server again.And we were just as pleasantly pleased as we were the first visit!

This is one of my favorite places in NYC. I’ve been there for Thanksgiving dinner a few years in a row, and on other occasions as well. The food is always good, and the ambience and service are always warm and welcoming.
As a server myself, this is the kind of place in which I’d love to work – you can just feel how happy the staff are to be there, which speaks volumes about the owners and management.
I’d definitely recommend The Landmark Tavern for anyone, whether it’s for a special occasion, or just a regular day. You’re pretty much guaranteed to find something you’ll love on the menu, and the wonderful staff will have you wanting to return soon.

I stopped in today while I was in the area since I had this restaurant on my radar for a while, and I love visiting places that have a long history. I was greeted and served by Pratap, and he was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage, and it was very good. The Corned Beef was really the star of the dish as it was cooked perfectly and just melted in my mouth. The menu isn’t too large, but it looks like the portions are very generous for the prices. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place where it gives off a classic pub look. I definitely recommend it as this is one of those places that is great for a quick bite, a date night, or just grab a couple of drinks.
