Our waitress was so sweet, the food was more flavorful than any of the midwestern cafes I have been to. Although it was a little chilly in the place, I don’t expect more in the winter. All in all, quite a great first impression!

Last weekI stopped for Dinner and decided to try the Reuben. Wow! It was so delicious i actually still think about. My dad (Mr Faint Praise) got the half I took home and said “that is quite the sandwich” which is significant because he usually says “well, that wasn’t terrible.” The Reuben-my new fav.

Great small town home cooked meal. The owner, Peg, came out and talked with her about people i knew and getting to know her and her café. Peg was very personable and friendly. Olivia, employed at the Cafe is a great asset to the business with her infectious smile. My wife and I would’ve enjoyed the evening entertainment on the last Saturday of every month if we weren’t heading back home from a week at the lake. Very surprised about live music and prine rib served this past Saturday. Hopefully we’ll attend one of the last Saturday live music events. Job we’ll done Peg.

The food at this restaurant is really good. I had the patty melt. The kids had good options to choose from. All of the food came out hot from the kitchen. I’m not sure what kind of coffee they are serving but it is also very good and I visit lots of coffee shops.
The silverware has some dried soap on it. That’s an easily fixed issue but the food is is 5 stars.

Great place to eat. Same feel as the old café but remodeld and looks great. Best soup I’ve had in a long time. Really good wings and fries too. Servers and staff friendly and helpful & I recived my food right away.
